"Immer wieder ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Essen und abwechslungsreicher zusätzlicher Tageskarte bei exzellentem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Einrichtung und Ambiente sind ansprechend und verbreiten Gemütlichkeit. Nicht ganz so entspannt und mitunter recht hektisch geht es leider zu, wenn alle Tische besetzt sind ... wie am letzten Sonntagabend. Da kommt es dann schon vor, dass man noch keine Getränke hat, aber von drei Servicekräften insgesamt schon fünfmal gefragt worden ist, was man essen möchte. So etwas nervt und lässt den Eindruck entstehen, dass das Servicepersonal schlecht aufeinander abgestimmt und vielleicht auch nicht optimal ausgebildet ist."

"At the market place of Telgte, a small ancient vaulted cellar accomodates this famous restaurant which is renowned for its wines and dishes. Sitting in old casks and stalls the best is to order tarte flambée or an iron frying pan full of Westfalian "Bratkartoffeln".As a famous wine bar you should order one of that great wines - no beer! During summer a few tables are also available outside in front of this historic facade, which will be illuminated at night. Reservation is recommended at weekend."
