"First of all , I did not know before eating here and viewing the pictures in the wall of the restaurant that it is almost 40 years old restaurant which was a cloth shop even before . We were fortunate to have a friend on the way to explain the food menus in English from German , otherwise we would not have tried here as we cant understand what was written . We stayed in the Pension Nicolaiplatz which is just beside the restaurant and part of same authority . We tried one veg with asparagus and one non-veg with trout fish . Both were simply excellent and our first attempt to taste German food was 200% pleasant . NIce staff specially Nadin , good environment , very close to Marketplatz ."

"Hallo we were there with 5 people yesterday wanted to sit together 2 tables in the shadow. we are all over 60 of the arrogant waiters had something about it, we should sit on the table 5 in the sun that we all do not tolerate. we should go into compromise. we seem to have no need anymore."

"I cannot understand the negative reviews! the service was fast and accommodating, eating was really delicious and price/performance is also right for the location! we were almost the only one to eat, i.e. there was hardly anything. maybe it was so fast! Of course I can't judge it, but tastefully everything was top! we will come back anytime!"

"Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen einen Platz, an dem auch unser Rollifahrer bequem sitzen konnte. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und auch auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Die Auswahl auf der Karte ist gut und man findet auch Gerichte, die man sonst nicht bekommt. Bei meinen drei Jungs war das Essen ( 2 Pizzen, ein Salat mit grünem Spargel und Kartoffelscheiben bzw. -ecken mit leckerem Knoblauchdipp) sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Bei meinem Grillteller des Hauses konnte ich die drei Fleischsorten auch genießen, doch waren die Bratkartoffeln nicht essbar. Es handelte sich lediglich um verbannte Kartoffelscheiben ohne Salz oder andere Zutaten. Schade, denn ansonsten war das Essen und auch als drumherum sehr ansprechend."
