"I used to be a regular at Soul Pizza four to five years ago when they did $10 Wacky Wednesday 18 inch pizza specials and you could regularly buy vouchers for two 18 inch pizzas for $14. The pizzas used to have an incredibly thin crust and great flavor - similar to what you might find in Philadelphia.<br>

Soul Pizza closed down for a period of time (circa 2014), came back next door to their original shopfront, and was subsequently sold in 2016 and is now operating under new management.<br>

Gone are the $10 Wacky Wednesdays and 2 for $14 specials. The prices have risen considerably - you'll pay $15-22 for a 12" pizza these days - but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pizza is still quite nice. The crust is a little thicker, but had a nice crunch to it and the flavor of the tomato sauce and cheese was very good.<br>

My experience at Soul Pizza was nothing at all like my past experiences, but was enjoyable in its own right. Definitely better than average and I would prefer this to New York Slice."

"Had brekkie here on a Sunday morning. Tables are a bit small but food was amazing. Acai and brekkie feast. Both tasty. Service was fairly quick. Will be back"
