"Great Burnt Ends and Ribs. I ate here for lunch on a Tuesday in October.<br>

My favorite meats of theirs are their burnt ends and their ribs. Everything else I find average or a little below average. However, the Burnt Ends and Ribs are very good. I never order sandwiches either. If I want a sandwich I'll go to Subway. When I'm at a BBQ restaurant I want barbecued meat and lots of it.<br>
I'm not a coleslaw eater so I cannot and will not try and comment on how theirs tastes. Their beans are good. Not great, but good. I did have a friend say their beans tasted like Wendy's chili with brown sugar added. I found that description rather amusing.<br>

Order ribs and/or burnt ends and you won't be disappointed. In fact, skip the side dishes altogether and load up on ribs and burnt ends.<br>

Their hot BBQ sauce isn't very hot. I'm not one of those guys that loves super hot food and so label everything as tasting mild so I can appear manly. It's seriously not hot. Of all of the hot/spicy BBQ sauces I've had at the various BBQ restaurants in Tulsa, OK Joe's has to be the most mild of them all.<br>

Staff are very friendly.<br>

This location also features a bar and a music stage. It is also next door to Cain's Ballroom and is open an hour before any shows there.<br>

Their seating at lunchtime looks awkward. Almost like their real seating is on order and hasn't been delivered yet, so they're renting some."

"This was an amazing place to eat. I was slightly intimidated but how packed it was but I soon found out that it was because of how delicious everything was! <br>

My fiance and I started off with a couple of drafts out of very large variety of beers and the waiter had no trouble recommending the perfect selections for us both. Our appetizer was the Cheese Curds with ranch and WOW absolutely amazing! They were like Mozzarella sticks that just didn't taste Italian. It went very well with the beers. <br>

Then we ordered our entrees: St. Patty's Melt with a side of Tabouli and South City Chicken with a side of Pub Fries. It's hard to go wrong with a patty melt but it was delicious none-the-less. We ordered it medium-cooked and it turned out perfectly. The Tabouli was something we have never had before - it was basically like salsa without the sauce, a very interesting side dish that wasn't quite up to our expectations. As for the South City Chicken, talk about a spicy...

"The Chalkboard Restaurant in Tulsa. They make Beef Wellington there very well and get my steak temperature correct. This was my first dinner here, I've done breakfast/brunch there before. They have a patio seating/dining room seating/ and backroom/wine cellar seating. Despite all the seating... they are not huge. They do manage a continual steady flow. I got beef wellington with veggies and mashed potatoes. My dinner partner got braised short ribs with veggies and potatoes. I really liked my dish. He wished his ribs were on the bone, so they would have more flavor./tenderness. All in all, we would go back again for dinner."
