"Crazy, how many bad reviews this has. my family visit here often and the staff are nothing but friendly. never had problems order and the foods always warm. I mean, yes we had a few orders not filled properly, but it was rare and it wasn't a big thing. love this place personally"

"My little family has Covid right now. My mother-in-law ordered Panera for us for dinner and had it delivered. I was so grateful because neither my husband or I had the strength to make anything. When we got it it was delivered no contact so I didn’t have to stress about spreading sickness and when we ate it the word that kept coming to mind was “exceptional”.We got the Mac and cheese, bread, and chicken noodle soup.The kids are asking for it again."

"Went with my mom for a nice dinner cause we were both craving it, and Chris was super polite at the register as well as when he delivered our food to the table. He checked up on us frequently to see if we needed anything through us eating too! Was a pleasant experience"

"Hate to be that person, but I've only ever had bad experiences at this Starbucks. The drive through line is always soooo long and unless you want to sit in the drive through for 30-45 minutes, I would probably just go to a different location in Ankeny. I just sat for over five minutes waiting to order once I finally got to the order machine and no one came through the headset to take my order so I just went up to the window to order there. A lady came up to the window and I told her that I hadn't ordered because nobody asked for my order after sitting there for a while I thought maybe the order screen was broken or something. She then told me that they can't take orders at the window and that if I wanted to order, I would have to go back around and wait in the line all over again.... like no thank you I am not waiting another 45 minutes just for some more extremely slow service."

"I don't understand this place. I don't understand the great reviews. No one in our household can imagine returning for any reason. This restaurant is like an alternate reality that has nothing in common with our real world. First of all I must mention that the service was fine. Our server was terrific and provided a perfect level of service that I haven't witnessed in a while during the 2021 times of under staffing. The menu was large and impressive. I had a difficult time choosing between multiple great contenders for my entree. But that's where the joy stopped. We asked for old fashioned cocktails. We left the choice of bourbon up to their bartender. Apparently no bourbon was used because some kind of peppermint liquor was substituted. It was gross and did not constitute an old fashioned. Our two appetizers arrived for our family of four. The portions were minuscule. The size was laughable. The ten or so garlic knots were each less than the size of a quarter, some a penny. The fried ravioli arrived and there were three little fried raviolis. Are we trapped in some elf village where everything is tiny sized? This theme continued on to our entrees. The manicotti and the gyro platter were small and did not contain any side other than the simple cheap salad that preceded them. Our kids meals were even more laughable. They came with nothing else, no side, no salad, no bread, nothing other than the main item. Your kid will receive chicken nuggets and only chicken nuggets. Cheese sticks as an entree and only cheese sticks. How strange. We paid $70 for two tiny adult entrees, two tiny kid meals, two tiny appetizers, and two cocktails. If they want to have European sized portions I'm ok with it, if they would give notice. However we paid American portion prices for European sized portions of food. I can't fathom ever returning. It's a one and done."

"Never had been here and it was definitely curious. You have to go to the center of the restaurant to pick a bag your sub will be put in. I enjoyed the gimic. I ordered the wicked on wheat bread. They claim it is their signature sandwich. Always have to order what they say is there greatest the first time. The bread looked white not wheat. But they toastes the bread and it was pretty awesome. Of course I was starving as I hadn't ate all day. I would order from there again. I am a fan of many deli's, but now I know I have one in Ankeny that I can go to when I'm there and in the mood."
