"This has been a regular hunt for my family since we moved to the area. A modest but good selection of dishes combined with good coffee makes this place worth a visit. During our first visit the staff went by and up to take care of us...... And since then it smiled during their service. I like the friendly view in a quiet side street, just right for a sunny day. Definitely a good Leo secret of the area."

"Narai Kitchen and Bar has been open for about a year. The wait staff are young women in traditional Thai costumes. They are very helpful and not at all pushy. During winter there is a 15% discount for eat-in diners, which helps keep the cold at bay. It takes good food to get people out in the winter's cold and so it was. I had a green papaya salad and prawn dish. I also had a Chang beer, breweed i.n Thailand, which in my opinion is better than the more widely known Singha. In all, it was a satisfying meal for one."

"If you’re looking for a great casual venue to listen to some live music then this is the place. The Ascot Vale supports live bands a few nights each week. We went there again on Saturday night and had a great time dancing and singing...along to hits from the 80’s and up. They also have a pool table. Staff are friendly and serve with a smile"
