"The owner is always sitting in the cafe looking bored and unhappy and it clearly feeds off to his staff who look confused and self conscious as they take orders. The kitchen is far too big for the size of the cafe and makes the...place smell like old food come 2pm. The counter, coffee station, is messy. There is no nice decor and music is too loud, I would never want to sit in this place. The coffee is good but better can be found at cafe Charlotte and campos in the shopping centre. gordon Ramsay would have a field day here on kitchen nightmares."

"Ashfield Mall is an excellent place to shop with all major retailers, supermarkets, banks and post office all under one roof. Ashfield Mall has a wonderful forecourt and food court area. Parents room and the amenities are always nice and clean. The staff are very helpful, Easy to find parking and offers a variety of cafe's and restaurant's."

"This place does not look inviting (it has a grimy old shopfront) and I would not have gone in, I would not have been with a friend who recommended it. this friend is a vegetarian on a tight budget and had found the food delicious. So...we have tried three sweet dishes with brot and they were really delicious (in this heavy, creamy/oily style). tischservice is in order, although the staff also sold at the fronttheke takeaways and has little time for nice things. there was a disturbing incident while we were there. a young woman complained about the previous service and wanted a refund. the owner lifted up their vote and ordered the accused. I do not know which party was in the right place, but the incident was certainly not treated diplomatically."

"Took advantage of a Groupon deal and I was overjoyed that I did. This place is simple, home cooked polish food at its best. Located in the polish club in Ashfield in Sydney's inner west, it was just simply a wonderful experience. The food is outstanding, the pork knuckle was cooked to perfection and it was huge. Great beer too. Good friendly staff. A wonderful experience. Thank you."

"I went there every weekend, at this weekend I went for the first time with my wife, since I lived in ashfield for six years. Unfortunately I don't want to go there anymore when I saw that lady took a brot out of the floor and used it for doner kebab. I also believe that they need more training to behave with the customer, I think they will get family members to do the service without training. I had a bad behavior from such a tiny place. Thank you."
