"It was back! Shower! All clean! Internet! Right next to the entrance there is a snack where you can discover drinks and diners with chips chocolate! Breakfast is top! Coffee is necessary for Germans! The bread rolls fresh! You can take the rest of the photos! Had strong nasal bleeding and used a Jandtuch! This one in the garbage bucket is dumped and reported! I wasn't charged! What would you have done? The refrigerator is cold water Cola and beer equipped! Breakfast with Mirror Egg Stirred Egg Grilled sausages. the rest say Doe photos! It's totally RUHIG! The street lighting where the hotel can't do anything! Always happy!"

"On April 13th, a new small snack opened in Bad Oeynhausen. A young Lebanese couple offers Lebanese and oriental cuisine. The highlight here is, the whole food is vegetarian and vegan, i.e. there are no meat dishes. For my partner as a vegetarian, of course, first cream. So we go to the test on 17.4.17 at about 18.50. The small snack restaurant I would not mention it has few seats. The main focus for the future will be to sell food out of the house. The menu is very clear. There are various soups and fallafel variations, offered on the plate to eat locally or in the fladen bread to eat on the hand. We opted for a dropper plate. My partner for the sharp variant with Peperoni u and I for the not sharp variant with Humus. As an appetizer, we both chose a lens soup. In the oriental area, the soup is eaten only lukewarm and not as we Germans are used to, hot. That's why our lens soup was lukewarm. She tasted excellent. Fladenbrot was handed over to the drop plate with the hint, if it is not enough to report briefly, then it comes back. It was enough. To drink I chose a Cola and my partner Ayran. The food was totally delicious, the price super cheap and we hope this beautiful little vegetarian/vegan snack survives. To the location it is still said that due to the stairs it is badly suited for handicapte people."

"Die Pizzeria La Perla befand sich um die Ecke von unserem Hotel Arcadia. Ich hatte vorab im Internet recherchiert und gute Bewertungen gefunden. Was lag also näher, als abends dort einzukehren.An der Außenseite war eine Speisekarte angeschlagen. „Was haben die denn für Preise“, fragte mein Begleiter erstaunt. Viele krumme Beträge, die von DM auf Euro umgerechnet wurden. Insgesamt sehr günstig.Ich schaute vorsichtig um die Ecke, ob es sich nur um einen Lieferservice handelte. Aber nein: auf der rechten Seite der Tresen für die Liefer- und Mitnahmebestellungen, links ein schön eingerichtetes Lokal. Wir traten ein und nahmen Platz.Die Speisekarten befanden sich auf den Tischen. Wir studierten sie in aller Ruhe und kamen aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Richtig günstig, wie mochte dann wohl das Essen sein? Schließlich nahmen wir ein Pizzabrot mit Käse als Vorspeise, danach beide die Pasta Combinazione.Das Pizzabrot für unter 2,50 Euro hatte normale Pizzagröße von 28 cm, war über und über mit Käse belegt. Wir waren schon halb satt, als wir aufgegessen hatten – dabei hatten wir uns das Brot geteilt.Danach folgte die Pasta Combinazione für unter sechs Euro. Eine Auflaufform, bis an den Rand gefüllt mit verschiedenen Nudelsorten, dazu Bologneser Sauce und mit Käse überbacken.Ich brauche wohl nicht zu betonen, dass wir sehr gut gesättigt das Lokal verließen. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, und das bei diesen Preisen.Auch die Bierpreise folgen der Preispolitik: krumme Beträge, und sehr preiswert. So kosteten 0,5 l Weizenbier 2,56 Euro. Allerdings gibt es kein Fassbier; es wird nur Flaschenbier verkauft. Dabei eine große Bierauswahl der Privatbrauerei Ernst Barre aus Lübbecke. Wir kannten sie nicht. Ich bestellte das Barre-Hefeweizen. Es schmeckte ordentlich. Mein Begleiter bestellte das ebenfalls erhältliche Paulaner Hefeweizen zum Vergleich. Sicher ein Unterschied, doch beide schmeckten gut. Das Barre-Weizen war auch in 0,33 l-Flaschen erhältlich.Die Weinpreise hatten durchschnittliches Niveau, wie ich es aus Berlin kannte.Die junge Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir mussten nur manchmal etwas warten, bis sie wieder im Gastraum erschien.Die Atmosphäre war freundlich-entspannt. Die Nebentische waren gut besetzt; es schienen etliche Einheimische dabei zu sein.Insgesamt hat uns das Lokal gut gefallen. Einen Besuch können wir nur empfehlen."

"The town center is small and almost all pedestrianized. I was there in December and so the Weinachtmarkt (Christmas market) was in full swing. Be warned they keep fairly early hours, some of the outer stalls close at 8pm and the inner ones (around the ice rink) stay open only until 9pm. The town itself is built on natural springs and there are several public and private baths and spas.The walking area is huge and varied from the town center shops to the park around the baths to the large wood on the other side of the town hall (Rathaus). The only place we found to change money (dollars) without an account was the Stadt Sparkasse (10E fee on $300)"
