"A surprising find on a Saturday night in Ballina. Pretty much THE only place in town open after 7 pm where we could find veg food (we arrived 5 minutes before they closed the kitchen at 8 pm). The staff clearly knew the vegan food options on the menu and guided us quickly to order our food. I ordered the vegan Buddha burger and it came with the usual dry kind of RSL chips. The food was okay, nothing remarkable. The pattie in the burger tasted like meat and had a texture like meat so if you're into that kind of thing, you would appreciate this kind of food. They have made an obvious effort to accommodate vegetarians and vegans with choices on their menu."

"The Bean Bank is the only cafe that does it for me in Ballina. They're unique and willing to try things new; they have a quirky atmosphere and their coffee and food are exsquisite. I couldn't be happier."

"We go to the Westover quite often and are always happy with the food, staff and service.Always able to get a seat but we do book ahead.Had a little glitch tonight but it was fixed quickly and professionally.A great place for an easy but delightful meal"

"Value for money seems to be much better since new management. Staff were friendly and the chips were good, however calamari was underwhelming in terms of taste. Still a bit more expensive since its next to a caravan park with no close competition. Beef burger was nice."
