"Was taken there for dinner with my mum and my fiancé in July. First wanted to have a nice Apéro on the lounge, and the cushions were all wet and sandy. We did get our wines, but service was ok. Then moved down to our table by the beach. We then ordered our mains, and I asked what was the special starter of the day. After I decided to order this starter, the waiter looked at me completely lost, asking whether I therefore wanted to cancel my main. No, just want this as a starter. Anyway, after 10 minutes we all managed to order our food. While having a glass of wine, our table was covered by the sand dust, including the wine glasses, plates etc. Anyway, the starters were ok. The mains (beefsteak tartar fish) were nice. As soon as the same waiter cleared our plates, he asked whether we wanted dessert. Told him that we will finish our wine first and will order later. Long story short he asked us 5 times within 15 minutes the same question. When we wanted to order the check, we had to ask more than 4 times to get it, and still didn't. Anyway, then got the head waiter who finally managed to give us the check. Best thing was, that my mum (who lives there) already sent two letters of complaint and didn't even get an answer. Very disappointing from a hotel which actually really looks nice inside. Well, that was the first and last time there!"

"Recalled me and my friend because apparently if you're not from the hotel, we can't serve you. I could have understood if the problem had just been reserved or not in advance or even if there was no room but this excuse of you did not take part in the hotel so goodbye it is very ugly... I answer your comment: I spend a holiday with my friend and I don't just have to leave invented reviews of any room, it's so absurd! I keep saying and I say that a young waiter told us (after consulting his colleague they were far away) that only the hotel holidaymakers could claim to eat it, that is why we left. It is only after looking at the site, that I realize that in fact we just didn't want us and that all could eat in this restaurant (within the limits of the places available I can hear it but that's not what we were told I repeat), your condescension says long..."

"When we visited the island, this seemed to be the only restaurant open at the time we were over there. However, we were not disappointed as the food was very nice, the service was great and the setting was beautiful. My friend particularly enjoyed her...steak tartare frites dish. There is plenty of choice on the menu too, with great day specials."

"This is a smartly presented little restaurant with a wooden terrace outside on the narrow street – ideal for warmer days. One front of house gentleman seems to manage the whole restaurant and we were warmly greeted. We were the first to arrive but the restaurant soon filled with many regular local clients. The formule du midi offers excellent value and includes a glass of local wine, water, and bread – 2 courses at 14.50 euros and 3 courses at 18 euros – a very good deal! Food was really good – tasty, nicely presented and fantastic value – generously sized too! My husband had a crème brulee with white chocolate and melted Toberone which was incredible – the best he’s ever tasted! Sometimes the set course lunch option can be a disappointment, with a compromise on quality – it certainly wasn’t here. We had such a good experience we went back for one course that evening and had fabulous fillet steaks (Charolais) which were so tender – very good quality. I’m sure we will return to Bandol and would definitely come back to Mil Plat."

"Very good night here. food is delicious and warm welcome. the map follows the seasons and offers complex and very successful associations, such as tomato tatin with its cabecou ice. the wine list is vast and original, and the server that is sommelier formation will be a pleasure to advise you, whether on the dishes or on the wines! I strongly recommend"
