"Came here after the HuffPost piece on 7 places in McLeod. Mgmt has changed since the article and the only good thing here is the view. The fact that me and my wife were the only people here for an hour was proof of the same. Food lacklustre menu. Didn’t have half the items on the menu. Had 1 peanut chaat and it was flavourless crap. Decided we don’t want to have anything else here. Alcohol menu was severely limited and we were served Nashik wine, not the local fare. Payment Does not accept cards. Or any other digital forms of payment either. I’ve had it with this place. Overall Disappointed is an understatement."

"Its just near main chowk. If you hungry then order some Chinese or Tibetan cuisine here. Its clean, cheap and few food are really of good quality. Veg momo is really great."

"We ate here at least 4 times during our visit. we love eating and the vibe. Surprisingly, their Italian pasta dishes are some of the best I ever had! Of course, they also have delicious momos and Tibetan dishes and other sorts. very friendly Tibetan people who lead this place. to keep from time to time. eat is excellent! if you are vegan, you should definitely pass and then go next to the cellar bakery and get some vegan sweets!"

"Not just the food is amazing at the Black Tent Cafe, the reason it is one of the most popular cafes amongst the foreigner crowd is because its laid back, and very frequently, the organise music nights or some interesting activity. Definitely worth a visit more than once :"

"This place is just next to the taxi stand at Dharamkot. Everything we ate here from the momos , thukpa, the chicken schnitzel , the baghsu cake were lip smacking. They have select beer options available too. Karan at the counter was warm and efficient. Do head here for a lunch if In Mcleod Ganj , it a short walk uphill but truly worth it."

"I went there after reading some reviews and getting to know that it appeared in one of the famed food shows but talk of ambience: Nil star; Food quality: 1 star; courtesy or hospitality: 1 star. The waiter doesn't even know what is being served and quality is as good as any roadside dhaba rather worse than them. Even food shows should take some responsibility of giving review based on some facts."
