"Do not feel that they need to order a series of pizzas from this place to feed a few people. for adults and children we ordered large pizzas and regular garlic pizza. that was too much because of the amount of hits. on the pizzas! very filling and good tasting. had they been going back to townsville?"

"Have not been here for many years. Was bitterly disappointed. Only 3 tables with diners should have been our first clue. Staff not interested. Food theme for pasta seemed to be just throw lots of chilli in. So much chilli that one meal was inedible. The mashed potato with other 2 meals was good. Pretty sad when that is the best part of a meal. Any other restaurant in this area is better then this one."

"Just went to this place with my daughter. From the outside place looks unkempt and run-down. On the inside furniture is a mix of worn out and newish. Restaurant lacks an overall look or style. The pizzas were very bland, in fact it was hard to tell what they were meant to be. Salads were gross with over processed dressing. Drink machine lacks an ice dispenser, had an ice bucket next to it instead. Place was generally grubby with dirty tables and visible dirt on wall next to our booth. Toilets were disgusting and male toilet was out of order.The lady who served us was lovely with a big smile and a nice welcome. As we were leaving she said "see you again soon". Once we got outside my daughter said "I don't think we'll be going back there" I agreed. Even though it's fairly cheap it's not worth the money."

"We went to the Ross River Road store last night for dinner. I had to convince the rest of the family to try something new as we are all fans of Miss India. I am not fond of that restaurant in summer though as the air con doesn't work properly and it is not pleasant sitting in the heat, despite the food being very good. Indian Friends however, has very similar offerings in the food department, and also are very good with GF options and vegetarian meals. Prices are good, with many special packages available. Large selection of Naan breads. However, what was super impressive for all of us was the lovely quiet setting and the very professional, warm and friendly service. The staff were very informative and knowledgeable in regards to our GF requirements and this is a huge plus. The pakoras, and samosas were so yummy, with the chicken samosas probably the best I have tasted. My granddaughter ate 3 very large pakoras and polished off a small curry in no time. My son and I had the special for $10, and this included one plate of curry with rice, 2 tandoori chicken wings, papadums and dressings. It was a very pleasant dining experience indeed, and we will definitely be back next time we are in Townsville. This store is located in the old Pizza Hut building. Loads of parking too."
