"Nasty little waitress. My daughter didn't feel good and needed the plunder so that we arrived at this place and everything was good; as we were there, the four of us decided to grab a table and have a lunch. Son of a bitch. When we were presented with the menu (I saw the prices and a few maths saw a modest lunch would return me ca. 200 €. The waitress had made water available and put the table when I explained what happened and said we didn't need the table anymore. My God! They thought I had attacked her mother, I apologized at least five times (I am English and even offered to pay for the tap water (no food had been ordered). She had nothing of it and made a real scene that indicated that the menu was displayed for all to see (true, but despite the circumstances she wore. Nasty little waitress , nasty little hotel (probably). Apart from this little episode we had a great holiday and enjoyed many French hospitality"

"Nice location, but the french fries were lukewarm and the sauce at the bavette came out of the microwave. Also the service was slow and not up to par. My daughter had a childerens menu that included a scoup of ice. We asked vanilla (2 times) and got strawberry. If you need to go to the toilet, do not go there. A few yards away there is a public toilet, which is cleaner;)"

"Very nice place. Calm down. Well placed in relation to the center. Perfect to eat quietly while children play (small games, cabin... Small card but very good dishes. It is recommended for families."

"We have been coming to Brantome for several (4+ years and I can honestly say this was the worst meal we have ever had. It’s our own fault as we had plenty of time to change our minds but we decided to sit out the wait for an hr for our drinks to arrive! But that wasn’t enough of a clue for us oh no we decided to wait for the food. Finesse isn’t a word I would use to describe how the food is presented. The service was like being in a sketch of Acorn Antiques with Victoria Wood and the hilarious waitress played by Julie Walters. We will remember this lunch for the rest of our lives obviously for all the wrong reasons! I would strongly recommend you eat somewhere else if you like good food."
