"Do enough people know about Vekslers? I only ask because I spent years living in Brooklyn without knowing about this hidden gem. Tonight I returned here for the first time in six month and was as impressed as I was the first time.First thing that gets me through this door are the soup dumplings. There simply are not enough soup dumplings in this area of Brooklyn. Are these the best soup dumpling? No, but they still manage to curb my soup dumpling cravings. The food is Asian inspired, with items like moo shu pork tacos, scallion pancakes, Thai fried chicken salad. Lots of tasty, reasonably-priced cocktails on the menu. The staff is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. Also, live jazz on Sunday nights!"

"We 've all experienced the power of two: two for one tickets, part two of a great book or movie sequel. Well, Bay Ridge has a power of two:Townhouse 275 and Oishi 's. My friends and I celebrate girls night once a month at TH275 for the chill vibe, ambience and great cocktails. Tim, the gifted bartender aka cocktail craftsman, whips up great drinks and plays the coolest jazz music. There are booths to linger in, an extended wooden Parsons like wooden picnic table for large groups, cozy seating solo at the bar or a window seat for people watching. The cocktail menu has clever named libations that will have patrons ordering again and again. My favorites are Bus Ticket( Campari, Cointreau, grapefruit and Hendricks gin, heaven in a glass Shanghai Margarita( Tequila with fresh minced ginger, Cointreau, Agave nectar and lime . Classic Margarita and Black Cherry Mojito( black cherries, mint and Bacardi rum . My friends enjoy Our Manhattan(apple infused bourbon, vermouth and luxardo cherry and Blue Monday(blueberry infused gin . The other fabulous thing about TH275 is it 's connection to Oishi 's. Oishi 's serves delicious food and is a great partner to Tim 's wonderful cocktail concoctions. I highly recommend the following from Oishi 's: chicken bun with Karaage chicken that 's crispy, flavorful and goes great with a Margarita. You can order a single bun or two for $10. I always order two, hard to resist. The bun can also be ordered with vegetables or shrimp. The Ramen with Karaage chicken really warms your soul on a cold winters night partnered with Shanghai Margarita that seals the meal. We have spent numerous snowy nights sitting in the comfortable booths slurping this delicious broth. My new menu fave is the Rice bowl with Karaage Chicken and avocado; for $16 you get a hearty bowl of fresh avocado and perfectly cooked fried chicken . My new summer cocktail fave is Bus Ticket: a perfect marriage Cointreau, red grapefruit and Campari. Can 't rave about it enough!(twice mentioned in my review, lol! I 've also chilled solo at TH275 post work to unwind or to stop in and talk jazz with Tim while savoring my cocktails. TH275 is what Cheers was to Norm: a great neighborhood gem. At TH275, everyone knows my name and I 'm so glad! Here 's two compliments: hats off to Tim and crew and the entire Oishi 's crew for serving up delicious food time and time again."

"Great place to bring vegan and vegetarian friends/family. As an omnivore, the dishes were hit or miss, but my friends were happy and we all left quite full. My favorites were the oyster mushroom fried chicken, buffalo cauliflower wings, and strawberry salad. Service was great and they had a nice drink selection, even for non-drinkers. I wish I had left room to try the desserts!"
