"I had been on the Cape for a few days and was headed home and hadn’t had a chance to enjoy any fried clams during my trip so I planned on stopping at the East Wind on the Bourne bridge round about, well the place was closed , another favorite spot had become a victim of Covid and the labor shortage I assume! : I Found this “East Wind” Business near by so I tried it. What a disappointment!! The “whole belly” clams were basically clam strips, I barely got the taste of a juicy Cape Cod Clam at all. AND the “large” was barley a handful! Very disappointing! I’ll have to wait till next time to get my clams because what I had here may as well have been frozen strips from a super market! The fried shrimp and scallops were ok. Friendly staff, great location and the fresh seafood looked great in the display cooler, but don’t waste your time and money on the whole belly clams!
