"I had read about this place on happycow and had eaten here 3 times about the years. here is my canoga park india sweetness and seasoned review. this Indian almost food restaurant has been at this place for many years, as long as I can remember to pass it against. I remember eating this once. I have a masala dosa with sambar, cool cocos water from all the cocosnus, a few delicious snack mixes--so much that I couldn't wait to come back. but when I was back at another opportunity, I felt so disappointed. I had stopped to get a few things for the retreat, and decided to the combo meal, the white basmati reis plus 2 selection of dresses from the steam table plus a piece of chapati brot (super cheap prices.) the man behind the theke told me which were non-dairy options (it gave 3 of the 8 or so wahlto the two I also asked for 2 samosas to go and ate immediately when I came to my car. I wasn't impressed. the samosas tasted very average, it is worth not to describe further. later in the evening I had heated the combo meal to dinner. as much as I wanted to enjoy it, I couldn't. everything just tasted sharp and too salty. the saltiness made eating irritating to eat, and I just finished throwing the entire meal. I hate to give bad critique to pure veg restaurants, but I'm not sure I want to return. on a positive note, the place seemed in the regular busy with local Indian customers, so their business is just good. I guess I could try again if in the opposite."

"That's one of my favorite places. regarding the Indian sweets they do a phenomenal job. my favorite is thier milkcake, malai burfi and jalebis. I started to go here for lunch and threw my head too. recommend the chana batura. and for all those chai lovers, they will get the chai. it is a hidden gem, it is worth going. Oh, it's great for vegiter! they also have vegan options. vegetarian options: fully vegitarically nutritional restrictions: vegitarian options"

"First of all, customer service was amazing. I don't know the name of the young man taking our order, but he eminated kindness and just made the over all experience so much better. Thank you!Food: We ordered the fish with rice and salad. The fish was very thin, but had a nice crispy batter. The salad was simple, but fresh. The rice was fragrant and the best part of the meal. All in all, it was a solid meal, nicely seasoned with a good portion size.Although we decided to get takeout, the interior is very clean and fun. The takeout utensils weren't too flimsy which was a plus.I took a star off because of the parking. It is very hard to get in and out of with a truck."

"Adding a few specifics, none of which are good:Onion rings are listed as battered on GrubHub they are not, they are breaded (hard no this should be a crime . I believe they deep fry their bacon, at least some of the time. This is a problem in sandwiches, because deep fried bacon is never anything close to flat. A BLT will not assemble well with scrunched up bacon and may fall apart (mine certainly did, today . Special requests (bread type, use salt, extra crispy fries, etc. continue to have roughly a 60% chance of being ignored. Skip the chocolate cake (almost the same price as Brent's, 1/4 the size .Damn good burger though. Seriously one of the best burgers out there, imho. The primary reason I keep going back."
