"This little bakery has dining areas outside when warm and upstairs when cold. The staff speak little English, but are delightfully helpful. The bakery goods are as good as any in Carcassonne and the coffee is excellent. We stayed in Carcassonne for nine days and would have visited the bakery at least six times - and every time met other English or Australians doing the same. Definitely the best cafe on the square."

"If only someone would open a luxurious Turkish restaurant in this opposite and not only the numerous almost food kebab shops. this is fast and easy to eat, but not to dwell, as the tables are packed near, plastic and close to the counter and. drilling area. clean and freshly cooked, but none of the most interesting Turkish delicacies that offers a full-fledged restaurant service as in the turkey itself, no lamahcun (doorkish apartment pizzas, no yoghurts etc."

"We ate here on our first night in Carcassone after hearing positive reviews about it. The staff were welcoming and friendly, we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English but we managed. We had the duck and steak for our main courses, served with green beans and crispy skin on fries. The food was amazing and the portions were generous and we received plenty of complimentary bread. We shared a pudding which was a fabulous chocolate gateau with ice cream and toffee sauce. Great atmosphere, fair price, lovely wine, we wanted to eat here again on the Sun night but unfortunately it was closed."

"It's pretty. one of the most beautiful and large medieval city to see in france. and night shows are beautiful. sound and the light show explaining the story of the incredible city. people with reduced mobility can request access to the course without making the staircase and admire the show."

"We have often sat at this excellent cafe to watch the world go by and have a coffee or (particularly recommended!) a hot chocolate. Their cakes are yummy but even in winter I find it difficult to resist their ice-creams and smoothies. There is a wonderful choice of both. It's the place where the locals go to relax and meet with friends, as well as a great place for tourists to sit and relax. The owners are a delightful family and there is very much a family atmosphere in the cafe."
