"My friend and I enjoyed a meal here with their Thursday evening special, 30 minutes before they closed. A staff member recommended the steak or lamb as they said those were the best dishes. I chose the lamb and my friend chose the halibut. We both loved our meals, it was probably the best lamb I've ever had, cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious! My expectations were low based on reviews but maybe we had a great chef last night because we both loved our dishes. I definitely would eat here again the next time I stay at Reserve."

"I recently had the opportunity to try out JKQ BBQ restaurant, and while the barbecue was good overall, it's important to set expectations, especially having Texas BBQ several time while visiting friends and where BBQ is a big deal. That being said, the BBQ sauce fell a bit short for me and could use some improvement. However, there were some standout items on the menu. The pulled pork had a nice, flavorful taste without being overly dry, and the smoke flavor really came through. Personally, I found the sausage to be the highlight of the meal. It was packed with flavor, tender, and had a satisfying bite to it. Overall, I would definitely consider returning to JKQ BBQ. However, what truly stole the show was the dessert. We tried the bread pudding, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The crispy, crusty exterior paired perfectly with the soft, apple and cinnamon-filled interior. And let's not forget the bourbon vanilla sauce, which was a delightful surprise and an absolute must-have. So, while the BBQ may not have lived up to Texas standards, JKQ BBQ has its moments, and if you're looking for a memorable sweet treat, their bread pudding is truly exceptional."

"I have been here twice,coming from Frankfort and Lexington to Mayfield.Each time the service was great!!! The mushrooms are unbelievably huge...and the pizza was delicious...I love this place..Will always make it my go to place while traveling thru Muhlenburg County!!!!!!"

"I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 4 STARS IF THE SERVICE WAS BETTER. When we got there a guy took our order he was nice along w the cook. However, we came back to eat there was an older white male man that was very rude. The first server didn't ask us if we wanted it for here or to go he just told us it would be 45 mins. So we walked to a bar. When we came back we sat down the older man yelled at us for not telling him we were eating there because we were wasting his boxes... anyways, the food was good."
