"I was so excited to try this local Italian restaurant....I really loved the atmosphere and music. Very old world Italian and my server was actually very nice and accommodate g to my requests. The problem was just the food. I was expecting great food, especiallyfor the price. It was possible, just barely. Even with extra dressing; which was good; the lettuce was all you could taste in the Salad. I only found one little bite of the poached pear that was supposed to be on it. It needed either less lettuce or more toppings. The bread came only with oil and basalmic vinegar on the table no butter. And I got the fettuccine al pescetore, which was so very bland that I couldn't believe it came out of an Italian kitchen. Overall the food was awful. I took it home to re-season just to make it edible since I paid $60. I definitely won't be back."

"The landscape and the ambiente is hard to beat in coeur d’alene. our server was excellent knowledgeable and friendly. eating was very good. I would say the steaks received better reviews than the trout. the French woof soup and the weeping list were excellent."

"I feel like this place might be a hit or miss because the food we ordered was pretty mediocre compared to other reviews I read. My favorite food were the navy beans in a tomato oil sauce along with the pita bread. We did not enjoy the meatballs or salad they were pretty bland. There really aren’t a lot of variety options anyways in Coeur d’Alene so we’re glad we had something other than sandwiches, but nothing we ordered gave our palettes a "

"A wonderful find. Bartender was very skilled, friendly, and welcoming. Once we were seated, Duck entree was tasty and well prepared, but I did not care for the cilantro rice pilaf on the plate. Hubby had chicken saltimbocca which he loved, but found the garlic mashed potatoes on the plate just a little too overpowering. Service excellent, wait staff attentive and friendly even though they were quite busy."

"This is a must go in down town. I've eaten here now two mornings in a row. The coffee is great had a peppermint mocha that was so tasty. My kids had French toast one morning and kids pancakes the next. My wife had the hang over hash and loved it. I had an everything cheese bagel. Everything was made fresh and so tasty I would eat Here again in a heart beat."

"If a sandwich was given with the wrong sauce and immediately another one was given at no cost, in my opinion no damage was done. Our waiter was funny and friendly and the food was as good as ever. The fried pickles are probably my favorite attizer in the world. If you want to go to see a game (also a less popular) it will definitely play at a BWW."
