"We stopped at the last restaurant on the strip "The Captains Cabin" , which was the only establishment which had empty seats, many in fact! After eating here I know why!Word of advice STAY CLEAR! I ordered the lobster wrap $15.99 which had 6 or 7 microscopic pieces of lobster in it the rest lettuce! Oh I forgot it came with mashed potatoes, which of course were "instant"! My wife ordered the Captains Table special Greek salad which arrived with absolutely no dressing! The poor waitress who was new was very nice. Very disappointed!"

"Merci to the French Owners. The stress of holiday baking was removed with the support of the outstanding baking at Calorie Counter Bakery. The owners provided a vast and unique list of items that could be pre-ordered. Upon my initial order, l discovered l had the need to add to it. This was met with efficiency and ease demonstrating top notch customer service. I also learned about a French custom of enjoying Ribbon Bread, a multilayered delight. This l served up as an appetitizer as it showcased beautifully on the table and tasted just as marvelous as it looked! My guests and family are now customers as they raved about not only the taste of the Christmas, chocolate, carrot cakes, minced meat pie, cinnamon buns, rolls, ribbon bread but the presentation! The various baked goods were pieces of art. Bravo! What a delight to have the baking expertise, customer care so readily available at extremely reasonable prices too! If you have not enjoyed the baking at Calorie Counter Bakery and Coffee Shop go, and while you wonder what to try first consider a bowl of fresh seafood chowder to get you started. I know you will thank me once you bite into a cinnamon bun. Bon Appetite."

"I ordered a party smokey bacon donair pizza and there was a hair cooked into my first bite. This isn't the first time this happened and they refused to fully refund me, won't be ordering again disgusted. Don't recommend unless you want hair in your food recardos is better and cheaper. Not to mention the extremely rude driver who was yelling about the situation when I called to complain. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50"

"We had such an excellent experience here. We had a great conversation with the owner about their business model, and how they hire locals and ensure that their employees are able to access training courses to enhance their skills. The food was amazing, absolutely incredible. We had a sampler of 10 of their beers, and really liked the variety that they offered. The atmosphere was great. If you have not been here, go!"

"Salt Mango Tree is the most delightful out-of-place restaurant in this part of rural Nova Scotia. We have stopped a couple of times now and enjoyed items from their menu. The staff are fantastic upbeat young guys who love their business and bring a passion to their cooking."
