"What a little gem. Beautiful homemade soup for lunch together with a good choice of sandwiches, toasties etc. Very friendly staff and plenty choices on menu. I eat here a lot and think it is excellent value for money."

"While driving the NC500, we were looking for a nice bakery for a quick lunch, and this Harry Gow ended up being a great choice. We got a few pies, their soup of the day (which I believe was bacon and lentil), and some paninis. We ended up going back for some more soup because it was so good. There is a nice little park just south east of the bakery to sit and eat as well."

"I usually go to the Balti once a week, I've been marking each of their curries off the menu as I try them and I have not tried a bad one yet! My favourite is hands down the Green Herb Special, just delicious! Runners up are definitely the Ceylon, Chettinad and Darjeeling. If you don't like your curries ridiculously spicy then you can ask for a mild, medium or hot version of whatever curry. They do other things like pizza and donner which I have occasionally and they're good, but the curries are what you want to try! Dont forget the mixed pickle for your poppadoms or naan, that's another favourite of mine. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and very accomodating, can't fault them at all. As for value, the portion size is great, you get plenty for your money. I genuinely can't recommend this place any higher, I have tried other Indian takeaways and restaurants as far afield as Inverness but they just do not compare to here. My one and only gripe... the Facebook page does not have high resolution photos of your menu so when I lose my paper copy of your menu I can't see what I want to order :P see you later this evening!"
