"I am a hot breakfast eater and on my trip to bridlington I asked a place where the best local caffe was for an breakfast and the boathouse was recommended. they do not take card payments. in the inner is very old-fashioned and they have to wait 5 minutes, etc. because they eat freshly cooked. definitely recommend this place. beautiful dame served me and made the perfect cup tee. extremely good price with consideration of her tees is included."

"Great village pub, warm welcome trying hard during the pandemic. 12/07/21 Had a fab evening in the garden again! Chilled out plenty of other folks enjoying this weather also the excellent food from the food shack. Great pizza flat bread. Our friends loved it. Beer is kept really well!"

"We had a walk round the harbour but came back here for a snack. My cockles were the best I’ve had for a long time and my wife said her shrimps were very good. You can also get pulled pork and hot food at their...adjoining counter. Tea and coffee were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting, right on the harbour, is very good."

"After a long day out and about celebrating my birthday, the family got together at our house to continue the party. After a tiring day, we decided on a take away and looked through the menu which had dropped on our door mat only that day. We opted for two standard chicken kebabs, two large mixed kebabs and a portion of chips. We also asked for the sauces to be supplied in separate tubs. We were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived in around 40 minutes (thus a score of 'deux point ' The quality (and quantity of the food, however didn 't live up to expectations! The 'large ' mixed kebab at £7.50 contained very little meat and an equivalent amount of fairly iffy salad. This was mirrored in the minuscule quantities of chicken in the other two kebabs. To add insult to injury, four grown adults were asked to share two small pots of sauces! Quantities aside, the quality of the food was dire! Tasteless meat and soggy chips that looked and tasted like they had been taken straight from the freezer and dipped in warm oil! We were charged for delivery (2miles and I ended up out of pocket to the tune of £30! A few glasses of Prosecco helped to drown our sorrows. Ever resourceful (and starving 30 minutes after our banquet!? we tucked into rounds of cheese on toast! Birthday or no birthday, we won 't be trying this one again!"
