"Reading previous reviews, we were a bit nervous to come to dinner here, but a recommendation from a friend convinced us to go. we ordered a deluxe banquet on 33 dollars per head and divided 3 separate curries as part of the...banquet all the dishes and sides were impressive and full taste, but the entreene lamb teeth were a clear favorit as the different naan. very recommended it for something else and great worth for what they get. cant comment on the steak or other non-Indian dishes, as we did not go to an Indian restaurant to eat steak. we'll be back soon."

"Finally got to eat here , always booked out but we finally got in. We booked and waited an hour for our table walked around the shops , was raining at times but we didn’t care. Bought nice things and sat for lunch by the window. It was worth the wait. The cottage pie was totally delicious and the bread and butter pudding was a huge serve that my husband thoroughly enjoyed. Food here is wonderful, the atmosphere very good and so old fashioned as it should be. Staff very helpful ,friendly even though they were extremely busy. We’d certainly return ."

"Sticky date pudding is the best here! I came here on Wednesday 1130hrs, my colleague and I were the only ones at first put it started filling up soon after. Place wasn't packed but at least half the place was full, surprising for mid-week but that's how popular this place is. The service is really good, I love the seating area near the big windows. You get a good view of the street. Tables are placed at a comfortable distance so each table has their own privacy. We shared a salmon on pancake main dish $28) and it was very good. My picture was taken halfway through the meal so it doesn't show that it comes with 3 pancakes. We also shared the sticky date pudding and each had a coffee. Perfect way to end a meal! I could drink the butterscotch syrup, it was that good! And the pudding was so moist and just absorbs the syrup. So good!! I'll be back to try the scones, apparently they're good."
