"We visited for lunch with a local resident who had been there many times in the past. She has good taste in restaurants so we expected it to be nice. The ambiance was pleasant and comfortable without being over the top. It was fairly busy. It is always difficult to know what it would be like in the evening and if it were much busier. i understand it is run by a husband and wife and has been around for a while but they certainly keep it fresh in feel. The service was far from pushy and we were given plenty of time but I would say it was on the right side of not waiting too long. The lunch time menu was sufficiently varied and was very good value. The food itself was really enjoyable. A trout Terrine was full of flavour and the grilled salmon was in a great sauce with a potato Dauphinoise and the bowl of mixed vegetables were all cooked very well. For dessert there were great Raspberry Creme Brulees and a terrific apple pancake. I would definitely go there again if the opportunity were to arise. The part of Fareham where it is located also had a charm that was a very pleasant surprise."

"Enjoyed a special treat today afternoon tea at this lovely tea room. The selection was varied and flexible. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and tasty, cakes were delicious. Thank you so much for a truly special experience. Will definitely be returning again soon. Prices are reasonable too!"

"Well I'd been recommended to try their pizzas so took the plunge. Wish I hadn't, ordered a half and half, bbq chicken half had no bbq sauce on it so very bland, Greek side was ok, base was soggy definitely not cooked enough and it wasn't cut into slices, well 1 slice was. The garlic sauce was rank tasted of congealed butter and no garlic taste. Won't have another I'll return to Domino's next time"

"Visited the restaurant on Saturday 22nd of October to collect a takeaway for 4 people and told them we wanted to collect an hour later.The order was for onion bhajis,3 Biryani's and 1 Chicken Tikka Massala.when I got to the restaurant there was a 5 minute wait until the order was brought out which was fine.When we opened the bag we first tried the bhajis which were inedible as they were like dry dough balls with no onion taste at all. The Byrianis faired no better unfortunately,as they were the house special and cost more than the other Byrianis,we had high Hope's but unfortunately with the rice being too dry and no individual meat flavours being obvious,the 3 Byriani eaters only ate a small portion of the very poorly cooked and tasteless meals.Without doubt the worst Indian takeaway I've ever eaten(or not).Our joint conclusion was that the meal had been cooked when ordered and reheated when we called to collect despite saying we would collect an hour later,never again unfortunately!"
