"Earlier this year I was in Restaurant Schild in Friebourg so for a change my daughter and I tried Le Sauvage but when we walked in it was as if Schild had moved and indeed it had. Same staff, manager and chef. Delighted to report though that the food and service are both still first class. Well wort a visit."

"Okay, this was our second time in this restaurant, which is thought to be one of the best in town. Indeed, the food is superb. Pity I could not enjoy all plates included in the set menu and I stopped at the main dish. I also like the fact that they have a small specific menu, which changes with season. The location is also nice and the interior decoration.Now, let's go to the bad side that does not allow me to give them 5*. The service!! What was that all about? We have been to all "top" restaurants in Fribourg but we nowhere did we find this pompous and elitist attitude, especially from young waitresses. Why? I don't see this fitting with the rest of the restaurant character.Even if the food is extremely good, sorry but I like to enjoy it at peaceful and uncomplicated environment with more discretion."

"The welcome may be a little vague and the service, kind but unprofessionnal but that does not matter. The food is lovely, the place also, the garden and the view stupendous. Try and sleep one night, the brunch is also great."

"A Comida é Boa, mas não justifica o tempo de espera, reservamos mesa para as 13h15 e a comida só veio às 14h45. Muito Tempo à espera, foi a segunda vez que viemos, na primeira achamos que as doses foram mal servidas, mas arriscamos uma segunda vez pois a comida era muito boa, comemos mista na primeira vez e picanha na segunda. A charcutaria também é muito Barulhento, parece que estamos numa feira. Em termos de preço, não é caro, mas também não é muito barato. Quem vai já com fome, vai ter de esperar para comer, pois realmente é o que falha nesta charcutaria. RESTAURANTE A NÃO VOLTAR."
