"I had been going to the other Italian restaurant that was located in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd. for many, many years which by the way closed down for good a few years ago. I wished I had ventured to Lomeli 's earlier than I did. The food at Lomeli 's surpasses that of the 'V.... ' restaurant. I drove past there several times always saying, 'someday I need to try this place ', but never did until this year. We started by just ordering take out at first getting their lasagna which is my favorite pasta dish and it is absolutely amazing! Quality ingredients used to make each bite an exquisite experience. Two nights ago my husband and I finally went and dined in on my birthday. We were seated promptly and were given an appetizer of pepperoncinis and carrot sticks with delicious ranch dressing. Of course I ordered my favorite, lasagna, and my husband got the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. My dinner was complimentary because of it being my birthday. I was surprised to find that soup or salad came as part of the meal and along with a glass of wine and dessert! And not just on my meal but my husband 's meal as well. What a bargain! The salad wasn 't just lettuce like the 'V.... ' restaurant offered, but it had a slice of cheese, pepperoni slices, olives, in short it was an antipasto salad! Yummy, my favorite salad and it was extremely tasty! Dessert was ice cream and it was premium ice cream. I had the cappuccino ice cream with bits of coffee nubs laced throughout. I wished I hadn 't eaten as much of my entree as I couldn 't finish my dessert which made me sad to leave the last bite behind. The leftover meal could be boxed but not the ice cream. The staff sang 'Happy Birthday ' and addressed me by name which made it all the more a special occasion. What other restaurant does this? None other than Lomeli 's! The service was stellar! We will be dining there more often. My waistline may not like it but my tummy and taste buds will. Bravo Carlo Lomeli, owner of Lomeli 's! You 're my new favorite restaurant, and like your motto says, 'We 'll see you again tomorrow! '"

"After the third time trying them, twice via doordash and just this latest time in person my opinion is, theres better out there. Including better service. When ordered through doordash expect a mess in the bag before you get to eat but when you do eat, its good, if you dont mind waiting an hour for 6 pupusas. But this last time was just ridiculous, after they missed an item on the order we wanted but they didn't get, there was confusion on whether we paid for the item or not and during the confusion the lady who took our order and the cashier in her spot gave my dad looks as if they couldn't be bothered while the manager stood idly by just listening to him. What was also confusing is they dont have prices listed so on there food and just for a chicharron pupusas is $3.75 per 1. Food is good but their service is horrendous 3 times is more than enough to stop giving them my money"

"I had a great time dining there with a friend of mine. This was the second time I went. The Pho was really good, possibly one of the best ones I've eaten in a while. The Thai Iced Tea was really on point. I give both items a 5/5. Service was really great, fast and very nice. It's really super busy there, so kudos to the restaurant workers, they are amazing. Anyone wanting to visit here for the first time should give this place a visit.Parking: At night, at least past 9pm or 10pm, may be packed, but the should still be parking around in the plaza next to the restaurant."

"We had Friday night special Prime Rib, which was just delicious!!!!! Furthermore, sidedish of salad and bread and dessert were as amazing as the meal. Definently would recommend this place as the staff were super friendly as well!!!"

"The food was really good! HOWEVER, there was a really long wait time. We waited over 40 minutes in total, which seems to be a common theme with the reviews. After an initial 20 minutes, my friend gets his food and it was another 20 minutes before the rest of us got ours, so we didn’t even get to enjoy the food together. The restaurant was not crazy busy so I felt like they were prioritizing online orders over everyone. I do recommend the zucchini and cheese pupusas."
