"I have to say that I don't know a baker in the region, not a organic baker who offers so delicious bread. In particular, the bread assortment is repeatedly supplemented by seasonal peculiarities and there is always something new. At the moment I was particularly interested in the Leinsaatenbrot. Prices are more expensive than traditional bakers in Gießen and elsewhere, but each product is worth its price."

"We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel concierge and informed that it was one of the oldest buildings in pouring. the restaurant is located deep in the pedestrian zone and was in easy to foot to our hotel on the west. we ordered a series of appetizers; the tomats with the mozzarella was sweet and tasteful and the bruschetta was also very good. I ordered a big steak with a pfeffer sauce and the knife slipped through the meat. I would have preferred the pfeffer sauce to be on the side and not poured over the steak, but this is a small point. all the others around the table seemed to enjoy their main courses also with directed by calfsleber, calamari and pizza. desserts were standard charife, i.e. ice, cheese board etc. and they even had English language menus for those of us who did not speak English or Italian."

"Service unacceptably slow and uncoordinated. Not sure if it really is Italian. Didn't seem that way. Limited choises for food and the taste was moderate. Refreshments were all warm. We were a 10people group and the food came first for 2 people and after 30minutes and after strongly complaining the food came also for the rest of us."
