"A little hard to find as his sign says wine bar, but it is a small stand in the Piazza tripoli near the news stand. We had the classic hamburger with cheese, I have had the best burger in NYC and this tops it, went back 3 times, yum"

"We were very happy to come across Il Querciolo, just off the main road near our accomodation. We set out that evening in search of a good pizza; this place hit the spot on every level. We were welcomed at the door, and as we were seated, were notified that there was a change table to accomodate our 7 month old son. If any of your travel companions are members of the diaper set, you will understand how helpful this is. The space is a bright, open place that obviously appeals to locals. Service was attentive; in addition to meeting our needs, I think the servers were competing for the attention of our 7 month old son. They all seemed to stop by to say 'ciao '. For our meal we enjoyed fresh mussels steamed very simply (as I believe they should be) in a pepper sauce, with fresh bread. I would have been happy to make a meal of that, but we moved on to pizza, of which there is no shortage of selection. The designers of this menu are really making the most of the local produce, seafood, meats and cheeses. If we lived closer, this would be our local place. Great food, beer, service and value."
