"Really cool place. The fried chicken and pork belly were especially good, squid, onion rings, cauliflower, all very good. Get the platter and thank me later. Friendly staff, and for me; the location is perfect."

"Wow this is my favourite Lone Star, friendly service and the drinks and food came fast, all was fresh and so tasty as always. Lasso of hog for me as always and starved myself for the day so I could have the super tender ribs for starter. The wife always has Praw. Star for a main. I couple cocktails for the wife and as sober driver I sampled some amazing mocktails. Thanks for your great food and smiles"

"I had a takeaway beef korma last week and it was quite nice so though I would try the $10 lunch menu today. I ordered over the phone and was given plenty of choices for the $10 lunch menu. I chose the butter chicken. It was ready by the time I arrive to collect 10 minutes later. The amount of food was as expected and it tasted as typical butter chicken does. Included with the meal was Naan bread, rice, butter chicken, a can of soft drink, fork and napkin. Overall, very good value for $10. Staff were pleasant to deal with on both occasions."

"Love their roast! I have had beef and lamb. Both are really good. The meals are very substantial. Their rolls are not stingy on their serving of meat too. The salad in the roll is very nice too. I actually like that salad more than the cooked vegetables in the meal."

"We came here at ~6pm, was pretty full but mostly people coming in for takeaways. It took around 30 mins for our food to come, this is probably due to the shop prioritisinh takeaway orders first as our food only came out when there were none takeaway orders left. Should consider this a factor if you’re planning to have a quick bite. The ‘proper hot’ fried chicken and loaded fries with cheese+gravy was hot and delicious, fried chicken came with a slice of bread,pickles and ranch. Would’ve definitely been a 5 star if it wasn’t for the wait time. All staff were very welcoming and friendly, it was nice and warm inside."

"Walked in was instantly welcomed by a staff member. We ordered our meals it arrived 30 minutes later. Didn't mind the wait, as it was a beautiful late morning. So my hubby I sat outside chatted about family work. Food arrived with a smile, we absolutely love our meals. My husband had a beef burger with fries, I had seafood chowder with crispy bread. It was delicious!! Compliments to the chef. I love the place, the decor is of French influence it had a warm feeling to it. Will visit this place again. Thank you to Saint Lazarre Cafe!"

"We stopped over for lunch on our way back home and the food was amazing. Very nice big portion, meat was full of flavour and the bread was the best. We went again couple of weeks ago and had the platters with no meat and that was delicious too. Highly recommend this restaurant. You get good food for the money and the service was good both times."
