"First time visiting and our experience was great. Great food and a nice indoor atmosphere as well as outdoor seating. The homemade focaccia bread was amazing! I ordered the summer scallops the scallops were lightly seasoned and I enjoyed the crab and corn risotto but it was a bit bland for my taste. There's always salt and pepper right? My dad got the fish and chips. The fish was a generous portion as well as the chips and he enjoyed it. I tried a bite of the fish and I really liked it, well seasoned and not soaked with oil like some fried foods. For dessert we ordered the creme brulee and the warm apple crisp. Dad enjoyed the apple crisp, and the creme brulee was great as well. I prefer my sugar a little lighter but that's just me. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back for sure! This review is solely my opinion, you should try everything for yourself!"

"Scenic location, amazing views and good staff. Good food, quickly served and the place was packed. The meals were OK but nothing special and I would definitely come back at a quieter time. The elk was perfectly cooked but the toppings were sparse and the bun stone cold. The fries were limp and needed another minute to be right. The fish and chips were awesome and how mine could have been, just more attention to detail and it would've been great."

"Has gluten free offerings, staff claimed clam chowder was gluten free, chili is gluten free, gluten free buns available, grilled halibut and shrimp tacos are both gluten free. However, they had no grilled halibut or clam chowder and their fries are cooked with all other fried offerings. Made for a disappointing visit."

"Two Sisters is a mainstay of Homer and hopefully always will be. Their ham cheese savories, chocolate rolls, and sticky buns are absolutely to die for. At the moment they have discontinued indoor seating and espresso, which is the only reason I give them four stars, since their indoor environment was absolutely lovely and the loss of it definitely takes away from the experience, but hopefully it opens up again soon and I can update this review!"

"This was a nice place to visit. My server, Chelsea, was super sweet and offered great selections. Had the smoked beef salad which was great. They offer homemade dressing selections which are fabulous. Pricing is reasonable. They also offer local beer and wine selections."

"I can't remember if I've ever had better fish and chips in my life, so I will personally crown Ak. Fish Fryers as the best. The option to bring your catch and have them fry it up just has to solidify this stance of mine. We're from out of town and I'm no fisherman, so we ordered from their menu. On this particular day they also offered cod but we went for halibut because this is Homer and it felt right to do so. We started with the halibut chowder. The balanced flavors of clean ocean fish with freshly ground black pepper in their creamy chowder base just worked, I’m glad we didn’t skip it. Then the halibut fish and chips. They don’t do the normal beer battered coating as you can tell by the picture. Instead, the fish is enveloped in a ever crispy crust that adheres perfectly and is not too salty and does not retain excess oil. The fish itself was obviously fresh caught. Tender and flaky, not mushy like more pedestrian fare. Combined with the well seasoned and crispy fries and delicious homemade slaw and tartar sauce, this meal was for us, perfection. If this wasn’t enough, the prices were more than fair and the couple who run the place and fry your meal are warm and inviting. The kind of people I could easily talk to for hours if they weren’t trying to run a business. There are other good places to eat in Homer, but if you do find yourself in this great little town, you’d be amiss in not stopping by Ak. Fish Fryers and grabbing a delicious bite to eat! -Matt Celeste"
