"I ate dinner on Tuesday night for primerib. Price difference is a lot to swallow. $30 in the restaurant and $12 in the lounge......ouch!!! My primerib was ordered medium well and was cooked medium rare. Our waiter said the cook read the ticket wrong so he put it back on the grill. In the mean time my friend had already got her food and begun to eat. My prime rib arrived just as my friend was finishing her dinner.......so disappointed. I've ate at riverside many, many times and have never encountered this situation before."

"Ive was now a few times when you go through Hood River... this follows the BEST bakery in HR... its not in downtown... but take the time to go here and sit and have breakfast... If you're planning a day trip or picnic... get lunch... you won't regret it. Last time I bought a box there to bring home to Corvallis, which was very appreciated love this place!"

"Drink! put them on the bar and the owner, dominic, cares for them! He makes a killer martini and when he pours it, her martini glass is filled on the rock! each time. the wee are more than generous! the small bar approx. 6 stools are typically filled with locals who break after closing their load. talk is lively and friendly. this is a family business and it is obvious that they all want their customers to have a great experience. also her enkelin bella, which is a server, radiates such positiveity and excitement to share the eating of her family. we really enjoyed the appetizers of eggplant wars, which were easily baked and fried aubergine slices with parmesan dust. very tasty. my kalbsparmigiana fell short, the extremely thin and tiny piece of calf completely covered by the massive amount of mozzarella. it was served over spaghetti, which was boiled too long, covered with tomato sauce, which was extremely sweet, like ketchup sweet. it is regrettable that the drinks and the service were so stellar. the court of my friend was also disappointing, the freshly caught salmon was over boiled and dry, the roasted potato luke warm. the sautéed zucchini was the star des tellers. we would definitely go back to sit on the bar, enjoy cocktails and have an appetizer and salad."

"We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We love eating on the deck overlooking the Hood River Bridge and the Columbia River. Can't be beat in the summer! The food was delicious (the focaccia bread with oil/vinegar is incredible). They even brought us a dessert on the house in honor or our anniversary. We've eaten here for breakfast and lunch, and this was our first dinner. Highly recommend all!"
