"We stumbled over this restaurant on the corner of a windy road in hull and were immediately transported to a Greek island, with the music, beautiful blue-white decoration and friendliness of the personal (all Greek.) that is before we had eat at all! they have peta bread, hummus, olives and the usual suspects of vegan Mediterranean food, but also the workers (especially yiannis and nikos who served us) are so friendly and on the ball, really happy to change the elements on the menu to make them vegan and will go out of their way for them. service is fast and friendly, and eating is cheap and tasty. also on the bath sniff!"

"All brot and cakes for sale are baked on the grounds, so there is a wonderful smell when in the bakery. they have plant milk for coffee at least 2 vegan bakers every day. when we visited, they had a ginger-loaf cake or cinnamon bowls. the cinnamon balls were absolutely delicious. I wish I had bought more!"

"I have been visiting Grain for 20 years (remember the purple facility). Vegan cheese, milk, frozen pizzas, etc. Also a good selection of vegan supplements. Refilling station for shampoo, deodorant and detergent. Be careful as some items are vegetarian, but the staff is always helpful. Amazing shop that"

"There were no menus, so we had to wait, my girlfriend had a warm porn star Martini. We ordered a hot dog without bread and the waiter 'Emily ' asked why we don't want bread 3 times, so my friend really unpleasant about the fact that she is IBS that is triggered by bread. On a brighter note, the food was amazing apart from the rude waitress we would definitely go back!"

"Really enjoyed my visit to McCoys. Staff were really nice and made you feel comfortable and welcome. Food didn't just look amazing but tasted delicious and so glad I came here instead of having a terrible Premier Inn breakfast, and for a couple of quid more you get pure quality here at McCoys! If I was being picky ... my only complaint would be that the hot chocolate came with alot of cream and after removing the cream there was not much hot chocolate left. Will return to this establishment at a drop of a hat if I'm ever visiting Hull again!"
