"I placed two online orders and when I went to pick them up which I thought should be super quick the line was as usual backed all the way out to Route 9 and after waiting for literally almost 20 minutes no exaggeration I arrived at the window only to be handed the wrong order. The cashier then had the gall to ask me if I was sure of what I ordered. I was really quite shocked because I know what I ordered and tried to show her on my mobile app what I wanted but she seemed very flustered and she closed the window and came back with another woman who seemed equally as flustered and I explained I just wanted my order and how I'd already been there 25 minutes and the line was not getting any shorter so they might want to step it up. I then said I was going to just let my bank handle giving me my refund because the woman who had come over I assume she was manager but she sure didn't act the part had in her hand a bunch of crumpled up papers she picked up from the trash and she didn't seem to know her right from her left. I was feeling very bad for the other poles who were stuck on this line as long as me and I just wanted to be done. Even on days that I'm just passing by and not going in the line is out to Route 9. I can't understand why they can't get it together. That was my last straw with them because the last three times I went my order was wrong every time so now it's just a done deal I guess I'll go over to Starbucks"

"This was a very disappointing experience. Having been to all the CIA restaurants in Hyde Park, including the brew house multiple times, this was by far the worst. First, we waited at the unattended reception station for five minutes while waiters went by and said nothing. Finally we walked into the dining room and asked someone to find the host who was chatting with the manager at the bar and was clearly not concerned about actually doing her job that evening. They were out of a beer. They ran out of another beer. The charcuterie plate was unexplained and had no more than two ounces of meat in total. The cheeseburger had the cheese broiled off of it. The turnip and kale under the salmon was inedible due to the amount of salt in it. Garlic fries were just fries. Pumpkin cinnamon roll with ice cream was hard and dry. Service throughout the meal was impersonal and inconsistent at best. I realize they're students. I understand it's a culinary school. I get all of that. My issue is with management/instructors. Anyone working there Saturday night, and anyone will writes the check to make attendance happen, has been ensured that the students learned exactly how to prep and serve in the crappy Chili's in the mall parking lot you refuse to go to."

"Deidre is by far one of the best waitresses we have ever had at any restaurant. She is always so sweet and and pleasant! She even remembers what we usually order and drink! We love the food and atmosphere as well, but especially even better when Deidre is our waitress!"

"While visiting my daughter, I had a day to myself and was driving from the Loeb at Vassar to Hyde Park. Since I had been to the CIA several times in the past, I knew I could make a quick stop to get a delicious lunch. It did not disappoint. There was a line but it moved quickly. I ordered soup (and bread to go) and sat in the seating area. Due to COVID there was no table service which did not bother me at all."
