"This is not a restaurant, but a very popular take-away snack stall that is crowded all the time. Queue, buy your food and eat it in the street. They have a choice of different snacks. I tried one of their samosas and the onion kachori, and both were outstanding and so delicious – the best food I had in India!!! The best samosa I have ever eaten, and I have had samosas in many places! Shahi Samosa is apprx. 50m south of the clock tower. The food is always fresh, so no need to worry about hygiene. The food is a bit spicy, though."

"I had an incredible curry here after explaining what I couldn’t eat as a vegan. The food seemed slightly westernised which suited me after a week of slightly too spicy food. The lemon soda was also really refreshing after a long dusty day walking the streets and market. The second time I ate here we sat on the roof where there is a fabulous view of the fort at sunset."
