"The rooms are very small. About 4 square meter for six people in my case. The ventilation is insufficient, especially if it is hot outside. If the AC is turned on, it can be quite loud. There is almost no ventilation even if the windows were opened as they are very small and open only a few centimeters. Enough for a moving train, but not for a stationary one. Most of the bathrooms are also very small. The beds are also not very large. If you are above 180 cm, you will find your feet and head often touching the walls. The walls to the next room are very thin. It was hard and frustrating to sleep my entire stay as I could hear the people next door talking. I could listen to their conversation, even with earplugs! There are no lockers! You also don't get a key for your room. You have to ask the staff to close or open the doors. In my case with six people, the dorm was always open, as people just left without telling the staff to close the door. Really bad concept! Staff was friendly and helpful! Location is good."

"Me and my colleagues use to loveee going to IPO. The salad is really delicious and nice portion. We went back today and not only the price went up but the size went down. Also if you add any toppings be prepared to pay 2.75 euros extra for mozzarella and 3.75 for chicken. The price was much better before. Our group of 10 might not be going back : if it wasnt for the price and size It would be 5 stars for sure!!!"

"Simple bakery with a small seating area. The food speaks for itself which is quite delicious. The coffee was great. Both regular cheese and ham and cheese croissants were great. I also really like the wood board they served our food on and the glass for coffee."

"Great coffee in this part of Amsterdam. A good stop on the way towards the FoodHallen. There is always a line of patrons here, which is always a good sign. The baristas and staff are friendly and know their coffees and customers needs well. Do stop by if you like some seriously good coffee. Prices have gone up in the last few months."

"40 minutes for 3 coffees and 3 toast. There were 5 people in all the restaurant. Regrettable. The toast has one piece of ham. 5 euros for one coffee, and 4.5 euros for toast."

"Nice food and selection is very good. Best coffee in the area for reasonable prices, especially for Amsterdam. Price performance is top notch, yet service a bit slow and the portions could be a bit bigger."

"A total unassuming gem. We visited Public Space while they had their July ‘22 menu. We had jerk chicken, courgettes, milk bread, fried plantains, kimchi eggs and spring peas. The food was all perfectly flavoured with wonderful flavour combinations all around. The courgettes with chickpea hummus was especially unassuming yet delicious. The kimchi mayo eggs were the least amusing of the bunch just simple eggs. We also ordered a cocktail which was awesome! The staff here are really friendly and helpful. Totally recommend especially if you’re visiting the museums in the area."
