"What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday evening with friends . This BYO restaurant served a tasty buffet followed by eyes down for bingo . I have never played bingo before . It was the best fun , everyone laughed a lot and the whole restaurant was alive and buzzing . The food was tasty, the chefs were entertaining . The whole night was a true kuranda experience .. loved it ! ..."

"While walking past the young woman gave us a sample sausage and we were hooked, we went to the butterflies and wandered round the markets and returned for the very delicious lunch special. Potato salad is devine with the sausage. I had emu and my husband spicy sausage. The guy who works there has a great sense of humour, not sure who was better looking though, him or his German twin? The whole lunch was a fun experience and topped off our cruisey day out in Kuranda, we would absolutely recommend stopping there."

"Wow, what a surprise! from the min. I looked in I was greeted with a smile a falafel to try and that was that we all eat. my children who had never tried falafel were dressed. the most incredible fresh. pita falafel I've ever had. clean, simple, freshly friendly! so worth a visit."

"Very nice range of meals and they tasted very good quality. They presented the food well and had only slighty long waits for food and can get very busy around lunchtime. Overall it is a great cafe and I would recommend."

"I had a chimney cake and it broke my head. absolutely delicious! since this day, however, we went 4 times back and drive the rich of cairns only to find that it was not open. google showed it was open. Perhaps this can be updated to prevent this from happening. recommend the mandel and zimtkuchen"

"The barista is a hoot, but I could see why some people could be rubbed the wrong way. We, however, enjoyed the conversation, even though it bounced around a bit. We had originally stopped in to see about some coffee to take with us, as we were staying in the area, and the barista told us they were sold out. After seeing how well we took the news and thanking him anyway, he told us to hold on, and he was able to scrounge up a pound for us. Pleasant guy, seems to have some views that could rub sandle-and-sock wearing visitors just stopping in for a hot minute the wrong way but for us, but it was a welcome conversation that was different from the tourist-friendly pleasantries found throughout much of the rest of town.The coffee itself was/is (we still have a little left) excellent coffee, a great flavor that suits both of us, which is rare since I prefer light-to-medium roasts and she prefers dark roast. Make sure you know what kind of grind you need if you are getting take-out, not all press grinds seem to be the same."
