"I'm not a massive carbs fan, but whenever I travel back to Portugal it's my excuse to binge and this is the perfect place to satisfy my cravings. Whether you are looking for a Pastel de Nata, Bola de Berlim or just some fresh crusty...rolls, this is the place. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and tidy and the locals are eager to educate you on what their favourite treats are. Should you be in the area, don't go to any other Pastelaria. And of course, everything (well pretty much) is made on site so you know it's fresh – enjoy!"

"Just had lunch here today, 1/23/17. Pulled in on a whim after a wonderful hike. Freshly made cheese with pepper sauce, fresh bread, grilled squid, potatoes, salad, Azorian white wine, and capuchino, much more than I could eat, for 15 euros. This is authentic home cooking, served by the owner and cooked by his mother. All fresh, all good."
