"My husband and I along with a couple of friends came to your restaurant for the first time on September 3, 2022 to have a great dinner and celebrate my birthday. The food was wonderful and I am pretty hard to please especially coming to a restaurant for the first time, but it was excellent. Hope was our waitress and she did a perfect job. She was very professional, personable, funny, attentive and a very lovely person. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us numerous times and even brought out a birthday cupcake with a candle and the end of our dinner for me. The next time we come back to Lake Charles, we are definitely coming back to your restaurant and I want Hope to be our waitress again. Thanks to Hope and your restaurant for putting a big smile on my face as part of my birthday celebration. God Bless you all and see you soon !!!! Bianca Jones"

"Not a looker but the food is magnificent! The inside of the restaurant is super clean and staffed with some amazing people! Everybody was incredibly welcoming and eager to help. Mom and I had a shrimp po-boy that we could have split but the leftovers were a great treat the next day! The bread was so soft and the shrimp overflowing! This place is definitely a must if you come to Lake Charles, LA!!"

"Enjoyed the food and atmosphere but it is pricey. Went for dinner. Atmosphere: elegant and trendy merged together. It's classy and a great place for a gathering, date, or upscale meal with friends. I saw people dressed up even a wedding party and I saw people dressed casual. Food: good variety plain/shrimp/chicken pasta $10.25 21.50 , fish $18 Market price , steak market price quoted $55+ , desserts, calamari $9.75 , salads $7.75 14 , burgers and sandwiches $9+ , and more. They also serve breakfast 6a 11a monday saturday and brunch on Saturday 11a 2p. Price: we ordered the shrimp Chipotle linguine $20.25 has an after spice, good portion; the rib eye with baked potato and ceasar salad $55 cooked medium rare, sides were good and flavor of steak was good; calamari $9.75 cooked well, not chewy but didn't care for the pickles veggies with it. For that and 2 non alcoholic drinks, it was about $90. Service: Very friendly. Able to answer questions about the menu. Had to double check market prices fish, steak, etc . Location: downtown Ryan Street. We were able to park in a lot across the street and walk over."

"I got the pumpkin cookie butter shake which was ok. It smelled like pumpkin but it tasted more like ginger snaps than anything else, which is fine cuz I'm not a big fan of pumpkin. My only complaint was that my shake didn't come with whipped cream, which I'm sure they had; I assume it was because the ladies there were very loudly laughing and talking so much, they forgot. So it didn't look as great without it. I'm all for fun at work but not to the point where workers forget things. The cashier also mentioned there were no burgers or white gravy only chicken strips and sides. It was around 9pm; maybe they were short on closeing employees."

"The experience here was less than satisfying. The waitress made sure to rattle off all of the prices for everything that she described. It was only noticeable because she didn't do it at any other table she served near us. Since we were the only people of color in the restaurant, I can only assume it was an issue for her. I then had another server adjust an A/C unit above me without say pardon me or excuse me. The unit then began to drip on my wife and I. We requested to be moved and were eventually. This was our 24th wedding anniversary and dinner was a bust."
