"No one expects a gourmet meal from Subway, but a vegan sandwich (with our without Spicy Vegan Patty) from this chain is quite decent and can be varied a lot. Patty's not hot, by the way. Vegan labelling should be improved, even though only a marked sauce, no marked bread."

"Nice place to take a break on the journey to Valais. Hot and cold food from the buffet non-stop. You can sit outside, protected from traffic noise, with a view of the small lake. Unfortunately prices are very high."

"Had a raclette in caffe du midi. it is a tiny place, jammed with tables and they are arched to the main arch with those closest table. service was friendly and prompt. we had a delicious raclette and were impressed to see that. they listed the sorts of cheese on the wall bagnes 4, which is from liddes on the way to the st bernard and which I think is the best of all bagnes cheese. (They are numbered by the milk they produce). Bagnes is the traditional Raclette cheese, so all right here! café du midi is probably the best place in martigny for fondues (they have a great choice on the menu) and raclette."

"My husband, daughter and I enjoyed a delicious mushroom fondue, a homelike tomato salad and a plate of farm chicken with vegetables at this family-run caveau. The owner went beyond the call of duty to accommodate my gluten free allergy by bringing me GF crackers....She is also allergic! She treated my toddler to a drink and brought her a surprise little drink umbrella. Everything you can tell is made fresh and they have a bakery as well in their establishment. The room we were in was real comfortable and charming with the owner's daughter's art work on the walls and cute heart and other cozy decorations. The parking is right in front and offers lots of space. We had a great experience!"

"Very good hamburger that you can order in advance, that's nice. To eat on site the decor is nice, but there is a lack of table for 2 or 4 people. It is located on the square and parking spaces are not too far away."
