"The positive reviews at tripadvisor enlivened us to go to dinner in this restaurant at the lively imperial plaza. there are many tables outside, front and back. but we go in, there could be rain. through the open window blows the wind. we're moving. the card reveals that loading is quite expensive. I order a small crombacher, the waiter brings an old. I'll let it go, take two more later, finally belongs old to the local colonite. my wife drinks a glass green veltliner. I order herringstip, they don't. the waiter offers me instead matjes housewife type with bratkartoffeln. but I get roast potatoes and a normal matjes fillet with an additional white thick sauce and many wobble rings. that tastes very good, but 13,80 euro? the same costs the blackback steak in old beer sauce that my wife ordered. it is dry and gets taste only duch the addition of salt. the waiter is rough, but cordial, as it is well said in düsseldorf. we pay 50 euro with drink money. there's something wrong with the price-performance ratio. we assume that this is gradually going around in düsseldorf. the Italian side is in any case overcrowded at both nights."

"When you go down the Rhine side on a dark october night of imiserswurth, you meet the good time caffe. the place is very welcoming, even though something crazy set up and with a small menu with German standard dishes. we were in a group of ten people and sat quickly and served drinks. we ordered our food and it came a short time later and was all solidly prepared and served, even though somewhat simple and without finer details. a nice place for a quiet eating in a nice atmosphere. on the Thursday evening we visited, a type of everything seemed to be done, from taking drinks and eating orders to serving the entire restaurant, but he did it very well without having to act nervously or overwhelmed. In view of the other traditional German offers in imiserswurth, I am not sure if I would come back, but on a summer evening, the proximity to the Rhine can be a strong selling argument."

"This place is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Germany. I ordered the turkey strips with baked potato and salad and it was beyond delicious. I really didn’t expect it to be this good. Very well marinated and glint portion."

"Echt super dort. Man kann nach ner langen Nacht voller Alkohol und Frauen dort morgens Brötchen für Frau und Kinder holen, ohne dass einen die Kassiererin, mit der man gestern noch was hatte, einen komisch anguckt. Außerdem hab ich ein extra Brötchen bekommen"

"This is a nice traditional bar/restaurant with a tasty menu. There's something for everyone whether you fancy pizza (nice thin crisp base), pasta or something typically German. There's a good choice of German beers including the local Dusseldorf brew. The bar area is comfortable and...the staff very friendly. Price/Quality ratio is excellent. Full marks."
