"Münster being a university and student city you cannot find too many restaurants that offer a somewhat varied menu that does not only cater to students. So Pasta e Basta was a pleasant surprise for us. Located on the harbour promenade, you have nice views....The menu is mainly a variety of salads and pasta dishes but the daily specials also feature tuna carpaccio and pork fillet. The portions are generous, we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and had a very attentive waitress looking after us."

"We went for a evening meal with my wife's aunt who lives nearby. The place was very busy but service was good and the meal arrived quite quickly and in good order. A mix of German and Greek dishes. The meals we had were excellent and well presented, maybe too large for British taste. We will be happy to eat there any time we are in Munster; we visit once or twice every year Good value, we paid 45 Euros for 3 large meals and 6 Beers."

"We were here several times with four people. the quality of eating is good, the choice of dishes somewhat limited, but always freshly prepared. next to the regular menu there is a selection of special dishes of the week/month. very friendly and attentive service. large selection of (glasses) wein, reasonable prices. a bit of bistro atmosphere, since some tables (for two) are quite small and are located near the neighboring table, the restaurant has less than a dozen tables. at the weekend without booking, offers few chances to find a table, from the middle of the week it is easier. in summer a small courtyard is opened."

"Of course, the Vapiano is not a cuddly restaurant for romantic hours, but it doesn't want to be either. It is located in downtown on the Königstraße, underground car park directly opposite, offers plenty of space inside and outside and is well visited. There are no opening hours, here you come back when you're hungry. At the entrance there are plastic cards on which the dishes are billed. At the 5 cookers there are snakes, but there is always something to look at, the shop is hip. Pizza is next door, but I haven't tried yet. The chefs at the available cookers are friendly and ask for extra wishes, knobi, parmesan etc. The pasta is made fresh in the house and stored in portion bags and is only briefly boiled in the water. Oel, herbs, spices and pistachios come in a wook pan (changed every time) and finally the pasta. The tables are also cleaned in between, although self-service is recommended. The menu is clear, pasta, pizza and salads. I had spaghetti with pesto, pistachios, knobi and parmesan. The spaghetti stuck something, were not so on the point, the pesto with a hint of knobi tasty and with my friendlin the cherry tomato and a basil leaf. With water just 9 euros. The ambience The ambience is bright, fresh with large olive trees, spices and oil on every table. It's clear because it's very well visited. But for a short stop I like the concept. It was recently rebuilt, unfortunately the great leather armchair flew out in the front area. Outside simple wooden tables with wooden benches, recently there are also pillows outside. Cleanliness okay"
