"I´ve been coming to this place for the past 10 years and it simply kept getting better. One can see that this is a family business, they are all friendly and helpful, the atmosfere is amazing in summer. A special hint from me: ask for the Somlauer Nockerl. It´s the best I´ve ever eaten! Their wines are superb, with clear, defined notes. They offer wine tasting too, if you are interested. English is spoken here as well."

"Who wants to get to know good and typical Austrian hospitality and home-style culture is here well-resolved. without artificial spun from cola and co, there are mostly exclusively homemade foods and also drinks. especially holler and grape juice are recommended!"

"The heurigenlokal has, in addition to the front gaststube, further spatialities and for the warm season an inner courtyard with playground for the small. the map naturally offers some wine selection and dine, typical in the hot but also with view over the tellerrand to fair, although not only at home prices. Unfortunately, our business group had not been well thought up by the service, so we soon have moved on again."

"The service was very kind and fast, we got our drinks quickly, but we had to wait for our food for almost 45 minutes. The mushrooms baked with cheese were average and the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce were way to spicy. The worst thing, however,...is that there is no real door between the smoking and non-smoking area, just a large free space where there should be a door. The smoke moves freely throughout the restaurant and nobody seems to care. I've left almost the entire meal, since the place was so smelly that I've lost my appetite. Won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Two points instead of one are given because the service was really kind and the prices are very friendly. However, the food is not good and the place smells terribly."

"Don't be turned away by the outside front of the restaurant, the inside is much nicer albeit not to everyone's taste. But the food is! Franz Tösch offers seasonal and regional (pannonian) dishes all of which we had (and were 8 people) were very skillfully prepared. They also offer a surprise menu (with or without accompanying wines) which is not on the menu. Portions are rather large, so skip lunch when going there for dinner... The service is very knowledgable but a bit too ingratiating as far as I am concerned. It was very disappointing that I had ordered my meat "blue" (and reiterated this point twice) and got it medium-rare; the waiter didn;t seem to be bothered and shrugged my respective comment aside; they also didn't have much patience with us when we were the last table in the restaurant. Overall however, a ighly recommended restaurant."

"The place is not very close to the lake, in fact it0s on the street that brings you outside of the village of Podersdorf. But it's really pleasant, tidy and cosy. We stayed inside because the weather wasn't good - unfortunately, because the Vinothek has a nice terrace outside, close to the street but fine and welcoming. The wine tasting was good and we ordered also two "side" dishes, which were surprisingly wide and satisfying: two slices of bread - with cheese and veggies for me (I don't eat meat) and with salami sausage for my boyfriend.They present a wide range of wine tasting solutions, really worth trying. You must stop there if you visit Podersforf!"
