"Exceptional restaurant. The taste is so unique. We had the lobster, the pan roasted lemon sole, the crabs afteros and the scallops with new potato side. Everything was cooked for perfection and enjoyed the amazing taste. Must make a visit. Be ready to delete for a bit as the place is popular"

"Since discovering this amazing Restaurant earlier in the year my family & friends have remained true to our prior review and returned numerous times for one outstanding meal after another.[Service Remains First Class all the way]:The staff here appear genuine & have always made us feel most welcome. Greeted with a friendly word & shown promptly to our tables we have never had cause for complaint. Service has continued to be excellent with the time between ordering at the Bar & our dinner arriving always consistent with the type of meals we selected.[ A wonderful blend of Country Pub meets Fine Dining, without the pretense]:The vibe he is quite unique- and I would say the best way to describe it would be that the atmosphere itself feels 'eclectic'. Everyone is catered for & fit right in. The local Farmers are in house for a "classic Pot & Parma", next to the family with kids who are chattering away & causing a small ruckus as only kids can do whilst next table over is a larger group of twenty who have just arrived for a Special Celebration. It's not long before the room is buzzing. [And every plate was completely wiped clean]:Our eleven year son enjoys his Chicken Parmigiana & likes to sample them from both the Kids Menu's & Adults when we eat out. After our last visit he proudly declared that "the Swiss Mountain is his new number one - he reckons they have the best Parma's ever". :) So there is a recommendation for you! Out of the mouths of babes as they say.My husband couldn't get enough of their delicious "Chilli Mussels" when we went for dinner & then because the food here really is just so good we went back for lunch the very next day. Gnocchi was his meal of choice this time around & yet again full marks were given. A side of Beetroot & Rocket Salad also went down & treat accompanied by a nice cold beer.As for me I am not ashamed to admit to going two for two & opting for the Steak with Chips, Salad & Green Peppercorn Sauce on both occasions. Cooked perfectly as requested being 'well done' the fat was beautifully rendered & every piece melted in my mouth.A squiz at the desserts left us wanting so much to say "Please Sir.. can we have some more" & order some sugary fare, especially on the second day as it was our Wedding Anniversary - but none of us could fit anything else in due to being seriously full as the proverbial.*** [Summary] ***From never having heard of the town of Blampied until recently to having the main Restaurant in the area one of our all time favourites was unexpected. But what a delightful surprise it is. The fact that it is situated among paddocks & fields adds to the charm & that small sense of isolation is attractive.Imagine that it's a cold night but you are indoors in the warmth. The room is jam packed with people from all over & the constant sound of conversation creates a low hum over the room. Glasses are clinking, laughter is rolling & enticing aroma's are floating out from the kitchen. The staff are flat out caring for everyone's needs & it is ok if things take a little while because that allows more time for you to sit and absorb the experience. The meals are delicious, the servings generous & before you even leave for the night you are already planning how long it will be until you return.Thank you for reading this follow up review, we hope that it has been helpful."
