"Monk fish and lamb shank was lovely Red velvet cheesecake at £7.60 very expensive for what you get. Looked like they had sliced the proper portion in to two. The plate looked very pretty with the sauce. In this case style over substance. I sent it back. Then had the chocolate dessert which was much better value and was lovely."

"29 .9.2023 .......Told the woman who served us we dont want a salty meal we had salty meals 3 times now here! Ive requested the chicken biryani rice to be mild and no salt. We ordered half a chicken also we requested no salt and mild spice only. Chicken biryani arrived all red thats not byrani cos byrani rice is yellow not red!! The rice was salty as hell and so was the half bbq chicken and the curry sauce was over the top salty!! We asked for mild curry it came very spicy and salty with the rice. I requested for mushrooms in the byriani rice the lady added on a few pounds and when i opened the box i could only see no more than 5 pieces of mushrooms there. Ive been over charged!!! Im sure these chefs had deliberately done this to piss us off! Why was the food this bad? Salt can kill us ur chefs cannot cook at all! I worked in the food industry and none of ur meals were satisfactory despite we had requested for low salt! The whole meal we had to throw in the bin i want my refunds!! We paid over £25 for nothing! This will be the last time il be coming here to eat or to order... the food is veryyyy salty indeed. I WONT RECOMMEND!! THE FOOD WAS GOOD A FEW YEARS BACK WITH THE OLD MANAGEMENT BUT NOW NOOOO!!!"

"Wonderful place to eat, searched on Google for a nice place to take my partner and so glad I chose Sophia's. The waitresses were very attentive and polite with nothing being too much hassle. The food was fantastic, the meatballs for starters are a must and the lasagne was also amazing and a good portion. Lovely setting and overall restaurant and we will definitely be visiting again soon."

"I was dragged in here by my son James, a resident of the town who appeared to be well known by the staff! We had a few beers which were found to be of good quality, well chilled, and fit for consumption by the good...folk of Northampton. I drank Swan Draft followed by Great Northern largers but most welcome on a warm day. I enjoyed my visit and will return (several times). Hic Rhys Williams for Shakespeare C.A.M.R.A, Stratford upon Avon, England."

"Great Vegan restaurant, fresh produce. Everything cooked fresh on the premises, big size portions so if your thinking about dessert make sure you turn up very hungry. The staff an owner were very helpful an lovely people. A trendy place to eat whether with friends or a loved one, lots of choices to choose from, I'd like to recommend the Vegan Sizzler it was amazing. Great night all round, also on Trip Advisor.."

"Visited on 17/11/21 for a meal with my wife the meal was delicious 2 courses of Portuguese heaven that brought back holiday memories. It was quiet but that was due to us eating early but one or two others came in to eat after us. The staff were extremely friendly even the owner took time to come over to speak to us and asked if we had enjoyed the meal."
