"Great. Im picky. Ex-barrista. Ex Seattle-ite. GF except for my 1 a year choco. Croissant. Excellent combo or pastry, authentic choc. Oaxaceño calient and a cup of slow filtered cup brew. Perfectly small, unpretentious, and friendly. Good lighting for book reading (a selection to choose from in house as well. Its not trying too hard. I look specifically for these types of places to take a break from my travel hubby. Must come if you'd like to try a handful or coffe/hot chocolate places during your trip. Coffee not bitter. They have OAT milk! Salud!"

"Our favorite dining experience in Oaxaca and we had many of them. This is the full package superb food, service, styling, and ambiance. We savored our meal slowly over two and a half hours and our waiter, Jonathan, couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We especially enjoyed the five mole appetizer almost a meal in itself. Drinks were very good as well. If you arrive early, see if you can grab a drink in Selva the sister bar just above Los Danzantes. Oh and four drinks, three courses (shared) for about $75."

"This is a sweet little place with seating for around 20. An americano is one dollar, a to die for little pastry about 40 cents US. An iced cappuccino, just shy of $2 US even comes with an eco friendly metal straw. The friendly barista...will give you a small straw plate. "Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through the central oaxaca district. It appeared to be more like a gastropub than a dedicated restaurant. Menus available in both English and Spanish. Food quality, service and beverages were all standout. The pricing was a lot higher than elsewhere in Oaxaca, but this reflected higher quality of the above. Overall would recommend."
