"Who is in Oberammergau should have been in the magic dust. I was in the nineties already in the old restaurant and later with the family again here in the new ones. The absolute highlight is the host, who always comes to the guest room or directly to the table and performs his magic tricks. And we're not talking about any magic tricks from the magic box, this man has learned his craftsmanship and masters art like hardly any other. Really a highlight that you should not miss (no matter if with or without children). For me a must when I am in Oberammergau!"

"Not just delicious ice cream, but a meeting spot for locals to socialize. We ended up here nightly after going out for walks after dinner. So many delicious desserts on the menu. All of the ice cream was local and hand packed. And in dozens.."

"I can't say enough about this place if you want a quick bite in the afternoon or late morning. Ask for a sandwich and they'll make you one. Coffee and desserts are fabulous. Pretzels too. Super friendly. Prices are great."

"With the location next to the train station, the hotel is perfectly situated for the weary traveler. The owners are very friendly and helpful, wanting to make your stay the best it can be. The restaurant is a mix of Turkish and German cuisine, and both are amazing. My personal favourite are the durums, and the portion sizes are almost too much! Breakfast is perfect for those on the go. The rooms are cozy in the hotel, but they also have apartments on the property. Extremely quiet and equipped with all the amenities you require, including a full kitchen. Whenever I am in Oberammergau, this is my only choice to stay. Thank you Erol and Petra."

"Here you can sit really well at the weekend and enjoy your Gintonic! There are also really tasty foods such as Gulasch in the bread basket, Chilli con Carne, Kässpatzen or a really horny Kalbsburger. The staff is very friendly and you feel very homely. I can only recommend it to you"

"Op een regenachtige dag hier goulashsoep geluncht. Soep was vrij waterig en zat vol grote stukken aardappel en paprika. Smaak was wel redelijk, maar er zijn restaurants die dit veel beter kunnen."
