"For somewhere that has been operating under the new name, 'Emma's Table' for about 18 months, this place deserves a better reputation and better recognition than it has. The restaurant wasn't full when we went to eat, and after a very pleasurable dining experience it baffled me as to why. The atmosphere was warming; candles lighting up the room making it feel homely and romantic; the lounge sofas near the entrance a perfect place to sit and browse the menu.The service was excellent; the waitress very attentive and friendly, chatting to us about Orange; the local produce that they use for all their meals; the wines they stock (the majority of which are from local wineries too) and just generally making us feel welcome and comfortable. And then there was the food: although a little slow to arrive (probably due to the fact the one kitchen serves both Emma's Table and a busy Hotel Orange), it was well worth the wait. We decided to share the trio of dips to begin which were enough to fill a small hole: the bread was fresh and dips full of flavour. For entree I had the Moroccan Lamb Ribs and my partner the Mussels, both of which were hearty, filling and delicious.Then came the main courses: Chicken Roulade and Seafood Linguine. My linguine was absolutely devine, so tasty and cooked just to perfection; a decent sized portion too. The roulade was just as good and also large in size. So much so that we had to leave part of the meal as we could not fit any more in!Emma's Table is definitely worth a visit. The prices are more than reasonable for the size of the meals and the menu pretty extensive. Compared to other places I've eaten in Orange, this comes out tops!"

"This was the first time I tried this venue. It was quiet for Saturday lunch. It's right next door to the train station for those who are travelling. I can't fault the meals, they were great and well worth the money. The only thing I would fault is there is no kids menu. Do you think a 5 year old can eat what an adult eats? This was a waste of food and money at this point. Staff were friendly and the interior seemed a little outdated. But it's good for a feed if you don't have kids."

"I have vegan eating all over the world and it will not be better than charred kitchen 4 courses vegan tasting dinner with the opportunity to combine wee from the region. a few months ago we had the vegan tasting, and the second time was eating completely different, but as good as the first time. "Tested the Mexican Pie Potato Pie and sausage roll. Mexican pie had nice chunks of meat, and dark red chilli flakes scattered throughout the filling. Heat was low, maybe 3 10 it was warming on a cold day. I'd do another for sure. Potato pie was good, nice pie filling and the potato topper was baked golden on top. Serving temp was spot on. Sausage roll had good spice, sage was prominent. Slightly too much fill (bread crumb) but good taste. Sure, I'll visit again. Curry pie will be my next victim !"
