"Lovely, very busy place to visit. Relaxing atmosphere. The staff of both the Goatshed restaurant and the shop are friendly, helpful and professional in how they conduct themselves. We've enjoyed our visit and also the delicious food. We will definitely visit again when in the area."

"Very enjoyable Sunday lunch. The Wiener Schnitzel was very good, so was the Wurstsalat. The Austrian Ravioli were good, maybe a bit too buttery (i.e. too rich), while the filling was slightly lacking flavour (alternatively, a bit more cheese could be added on top to enhance the flavours). The chef was very generous with the salmon on top of the salad. Overall, excellent. Portions are large, service is friendly, views from the garden are stunning. We'll definitely return. Oh...what we would love to see on the menu would be an Almdudler and an Austrian or Bavarian beer vom Fass. But sourcing them is probably difficult."

"I stop here after/during cycling training, lunch times with my better half and even just at random times with friends and family. We all love Knus! The coffee is good, the food is good, fantastic place inside and outside, what more could you need? Everyone is always super friendly as well.<br/>If I could change/add 1 thing, i would add unsweetened Almond milk to the menu :"

"Attentive service, lovely food, excellent wine an idyllic experience is on your doorstep Paarl seems like it might be a great trek. However we were pleasantly surprised to be rewarded with an idyllic escape after a 40 minute journey out of Cape Town. Service was superlative and the restaurant is a run attentively and unobtrusively. The menu was delightful with foraged items being used excellently, beautifully and tastily in a garden setting with a wonderful landscape to crown it all. Portions were generous and the wine is incredible."

"Avontuur is a diners dream. The food is very well presented, appetizing and scrumptious. Excellent wines. The service is perfect with friendly and helpful staff. I've always felt very special dinning here. My favourites being freshly baked bread, Luna de Miel Chardonnay Reserve, the duck and deep fried ice cream. Truly a wow experience."

"Such a lovely Wine farm! We came here as a family, on a rainy day in August. The hosts are so nice, friendly and very hospitable. The food offered during the tasting is delicious! The freshly baked bread and muffins were scrumptious! They also make the preserves themselves. Hearing the stories behind each wine was also such a nice treat. It was a wonderful trip out! It would’ve been nice to come when it was sunny, perhaps we could have seen more of the farm. But it was extremely cozy and relaxing with the rain. Dan is a fantastic host! It was really great just chatting to him and learning more about the farm and the family history. There was also this adorable little lamb in the house! Sooo cute! Definitely a Wine farm I would recommend to visit!"

"For me, Bosman's is one of those restaurants you always return to when you,plain and simply, just want a good meal with a luxurious backdrop.<br/ <br/ Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the manager who welcomed us back, which is something I really appreciate and find to be a hallmark of a fine restaurant. The manager at Bosman's is superb. She is very hands on and makes all guests feel like VIPs. <br/ <br/ I had the beef sirloin as a main, which was very generously portioned and well-cooked. I enjoy my meat with lots of sauce. I, thus, requested more from the manager and the kitchen kindly obliged. <br/ <br/ For dessert, I had the vanilla cheesecake. The dish was very well decorated, but seeing as I am very picky about my cheesecakes, it was not to my liking.<br/ <br/ Our waiter was a little absent-minded and upon asking for the bill, it probably took 15 minutes for it to arrive.<br/ <br/ As for the general setting, the decor, most importantly the heavenly chandeliers, was beyond luxurious and the pianist's playing added perfectly to the general atmosphere.<br/ <br/ Overall, Bosman's should definitely be on your restaurant bucket-list."
