"For many years this restaurant has been a favourite for us and many of our friends. Sure it's expensive but the food was always nice and grea for special occasions. Friends told us that it has gone off and boy did we discover just how bad it is. All six of us complained about our meals. Fish was dry and tasteless. Scallops were tiny and dried out. Had to look twice to see if there were any on the shells. Have always enjoyed the steaks with beautiful sauce. Not last night though. All four steaks were fatty and tasteless with no sauce. The potato gratin was under the steak and was like eating rubber. Couldn't tell what the other veggies were as they were overlooked and dried out.It was a very expensive night out and like our many friends, will not be back until they change the chef..."

"My partner and I visited Bstow in palm beach last night and it was absolutely lovely. We loved the setting; just a little bit industrial with cool rustic touches. The food was amazing and so lively. We especially loved their take on beef tartare. We noticed this reinvention of the classics in their drink menu too. The cocktail list is epic with lots of innovative signature cocktails but with really solid interpretations of classics. We loved that many of their descriptions had a reference to the drinks origins. So interesting! Our server was lovely and we really enjoyed sitting on the window and watching the people go by. We will have to go back soon when we are a little hungrier as everything else on the menu looks so good!"

"Two meals for under $18 seems a good deal, unfortunately this time we had a disappointing experience. One meal, barra fish cakes were mostly filler, little taste of fish and the salad dressing was not to our taste. Second meal, lamb roast, yummy, delicious but only luke warm, what a let down. We will go again and order from the main menu and expect a better result from paying full price."

"I've been here plenty of times and each time they have produced the goods! Eggs benny with avo and bacon for $12!!?? You get more than you pay for with this one, comes with Avo and bacon. So good!! And the coffee is decent too, I like my coffee strong so I get it as a double but no one I've taken has complained. The service is also good, you can tell it's a family run business as they are super friendly. Definitely worth a visit, it's my new local."

"Lovely spot overlooking the marina. Courteous and attentive staff. Seated and served promptly. Saganaki (haloumi) and garlic bread very nice and Atlantic salmon perfectly done. Good portion sizes. Not a fan of seeing live lobster tanks right near the tables - but it is a seafood restaurant after all."

"This place has to be one of the most expensive and overpriced shop i have been into in the Sydney region! It gets a terrible rating because it is just a complete rip off!! The produce and wine is o.k but not for the ridiculous prices they charge! Drive on to Avalon if you need to resupply or bring them with you! Stay away from this robber."
