"Super helpful staff. They made sure I knew what I was ordering, and double checked the receipt with me to make sure I knew the cost. I think they thought I was confused between taco and tamale after I ordered 6 pork 6 rayas tamales after ordering the Pierna Adobada torta.Their tortas are amazing. Aguas frescas always a good call (got the Horchata this time). Pork tamale good, but a little spicy (wanted chicken but they were out). Had to look up what rayas tamale was. It's a creamy roasted poblano pepper and it's freaking delicious.The torta was huge. I've got a decent appetite and half of one filled me up. I had the other half the next day for lunch and it was still pretty good reheated. I could've finished it in one sitting if I skipped the Horchata, maybe. But I would've had to take a post lunch nap.Had rayas tamale for dinner, reheated in microwave (I know, sacrilege) still great. Tonight I had the pork, reheated in the cast iron skillet for the first time ever to try something new. Not bad. I usually steam, but the skillet method isn't bad.Staff was super friendly and taught me a little Spanish too while waiting. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area."

"Please do not sell pastries that are stone and old. You know that the integrity of the baked goods is questionable if they have no expiry date. Turon was not fresh (taste like prob a day old no wonder when I asked to buy 9 they said "we give you in a box when you order 12?? Wouldn't you put her in a box at all? Or did you want to throw 9 Turon in a bag? the chickens were very dry and the filling was tasty. Hopia mongo tasted and dry (who knows how old they were? bibinka was stale and sponge roll was dry and looked better than it tasted. Please do not sell pastries or pastries."
